The room was missing some standard amenities. There was no coffeee maker, no tissues, no closet and no drawers. They charged us an additional €15 to check in at 14:15 or we would have to sit in the lobby until 15:00 even though the room was ready.

Within easy reach of main train station

Decent hotel, twin room was smaller than expected. I was surprised that they charge for an early check-in, even though the room is ready. Maybe that’s a European thing? Was tricky finding the right path walking to the hotel if you exit train station’s back door. Google maps wasn’t very helpful. If you exit through the front door you have to walk through a long underpass which was a bit creepy depending on time of day.

Overall a nice hotel for the price. Rooms were a reasonable size and very clean, bathrooms could be a bit cleaner. The area isn’t great though, we didn’t feel super safe walking through the area at night and you have to walk 10-15 minutes to find any restaurants.

Very convenient to the railway station. Reasonable eateries nearby. Check in efficient, no need to check out. Buffet breakfast adequate for a budget hotel.

We were really pleased with this hotel as a reasonably priced overnight stay before leaving early the next morning via a train to FRA airport. The hotel was very quiet, extremely clean, and looked recently renovated. We had a room with 2 twin beds and 2 bunk beds; it was cozy but worked well. My only caution to future travelers: this hotel is a good 7-min walk from the train station, not next to it, and walking directions on Google Maps are not at all accurate, taking you along a busy road with no sidewalk. To reach the hotel from the train station, exit left from the main entrance and walk down the street running immediately next to the station. When you get to the underpass, turn left and walk through, then right as you come out. The hotel is <100 meters up the road on the right.

Had a room directly avove the nack door where staff would take breaks you would constantly smell cigarette smoke Hear their phone conversations or when they talk with other staff if you open the window you would see them..location is right by the the train track's you will hear trains constantly coming and going and a walk way btween the hotel and storage building behind it is very active.

Superb budget stay

Excellent value for money in clean and well presented rooms. Brilliant shower and comfortable bed, though an extra pillow would have been personally preferable.

They sent me to a covid test facility because my vaccine card wasn't good enough. The line was too long ( 2hrs) and they shut down before testing everyone. I told the hotel clerks this, but they weren't having it. They wouldn't honor my reservation (for a room by myself) and I had to drive 2 hrs home. Thanks for wasting ~$40 of my fuel to drive a round trip for nothing!!!

Convenient hotel for a reasonable price

I stayed for a couple of days with my partner and it was a very good option for a weekend in Mainz. It was comfortable and clean. All new. Regarding the location, quile it's quite convenient next to the train station, be aware that you need to cross a tunnel under the railroads that might not feel very safe at night. We didn't have any problem though.
