Perfect location in close walking distance to the Castle. Nice room with balcony and beautiful view over the Rhine. Exhaustive breakfast for 17 €: well worth the money, if you like big breakfasts... We'll be happy to come back soon.

All in all a good place to stay. A quirky policy of requiring a 10 euro security deposit to borrow their umbrella. It seems to me that they should let you borrow it and and charge the fee if you fail to return the umbrella or damage it somehow the staff was friendly and willing to help

Decent hotel with good transport links

Hotel is located walking distance from sights and transportation. Is a good basic hotel with the facilities you need. The shower is excellent. The rdception staff are helpful and frienfly and fouble up as the barperson!!

Upgrade the Panorama Salon

The hotel was great except for the limited time to use the panorama salon which was only for breakfast. It has an amazing view but only available until 10 am. Apparently it makes too much noise for those on the floor below. What a waste of space as it is stunning. It would be nice to be able to get some food or drink at your hotel.

This is a re-furbished property and the staff are professional and helpful. But facilities are very minimal - no aircon, fridge etc - only the base basics.

Einfaches, aber frisch revoviertes und sehr sauberes Hotel mit fairen Preisen. Freundliches Personal und ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit tollem Ausblick über den Rhein und die Stadt. Lage zwar an Hauptstraße, aber mit sehr guten, neuen schalldichten Fenstern ausgestattet. Jederzeit wieder.

Wir kommen im Normalfall einmal im Jahr nach Mainz. Die schöne Altstadt mit ihren gemütlichen Restaurants geniessen. Auch der Spaziergang den Flussentlang (dieses Jahr mit der coolen Strandbar) ist immer wieder ein Muss. Einfach ein paar Tage abschalten.
