The only thing that made it unpleasant was the loudness of the drums from the band that was playing at the hotel on Saturday night..The room was vibrating from the noise. It wasn’t pleasant as the noise was so monotonous.

Cracking pub with great staff.
Free continental breakfast( help yourself) but note there’s no on suite bathrooms even if site may suggest that.
Communal bathroom and toilets spotless.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again, top marks to Nick and staff.

As far as pub rooms with shared amenities go this is great value and spotlessly clean. The staff are cheerful and very accommodating. I will definitely put on top of my list for my next stay in Maitland.

Old style comfort. Bathrooms are dormitory style. Air con was ice cold. Brilliant for the price.
