My friends and I rented this property for a weekend & it was absolutely perfect!! As close as you can get to Blue Sky Winery, and within 20 minutes of cool hiking in Giant City. House was very clean and cozy! There was also 24 hour surveillance of the property & it felt very safe. My friends and I will definitely be back :)

Family girl weekend

Family girl weekend of four generations ranging in ages from 13-81 stayed the weekend and had a great time being together visiting, playing games, shopping and eating out. Enjoyed the shops in Makanda and eating at Giant City Lodge. The house was very clean and spacious and was perfect for our weekend getaway. Everything was perfect!!!

We wanted a place to have a relaxing stay for friends with wineries nearby. This was a perfect place! The open concept was perfect for spending time together and the proximity to wineries was nice. It was very clean and welcoming from the start. The host was helpful. I recommend this place and will probably stay again in the future!

The house was better than expected. Very clean, plenty of kitchen and dishware, The beds were very comfortable. We had a great time watching the eclipse and then all the wildlife too. Lovely.
