This accommodation is located in a privileged area of ââMalaga and has all the necessary equipment to cover your comfort needs during your stay with us, whether it is a trip with friends, family or with your partner, it will be as peaceful and harmonious as possible. In addition, it has transport facilities in case you want to enjoy your tourist experience visiting other places both in the city and the province.
I was only there 2 nights but the apartment is in a good location for walking to historical sights and the waterfront.One item to note is that the apt. is managed by a property management company and you will be asked to sign a lengthy contract.

This top floor property is incredible: clean, spacious & well-equipped. It's centrally located & convenient to get food, coffee, groceries, etc. It's a short walk from the Mercado & other tourist spots, so no need for a car (there is no room for parking anyways). FYI we were able to get an airport pick-up with iLoft. Even though there are a LOT of restaurants/bars nearby, the windows & metal blinds sealed pretty tightly in 1 bedroom & fine in the 2nd.
The confusion & frustration, however, came about because this property is run by iLoft Malaga. They have great customer service, answer their emails immediately, and are very kind (esp. when we were frustrated), but we feel it is necessary to clarify what happened since we are the 1st VRBO review. For background, please note it was our 1st time in Spain, but we have been booking on VRBO in the US for ~15 yrs.
1) When we reserved the property, we didn't need to pay a deposit. There was only a message that the payment would be due on X day.
2) We received a long contract to sign that was a bit of overkill.
3) We had to scan our passport photos & take selfies.
4) When X date came to pay, there was no reminder from VRBO. Upon logging into VRBO & asking iLoft, we were directed to an external bank to pay. Upon confirming with iLoft & VRBO, this was, indeed, legitimate...
5) We had to do a 2nd online check-in w/ data we previously shared (=frustrating)
6) Our 7-day stay does NOT COUNT for One Key points.
Overall we would stay again.
