Finca-Villa Son Drach, large private pool 12x4m, wifi, BBQ, 2 km beaches

Beautiful brand new Mallorcan country house, built in 2012. Its design and construction were made to be a comfortable, elegant and very spacious house.

On the upper floor there are three bedrooms with air conditioning and two bathrooms. The main room has a large bathroom with shower and bath, terrace and king size bed, the other two rooms have double beds of 1'60x2m.

On the ground floor there is a large kitchen with fully equipped dining room, bathroom with shower, room for three people and large living room, equipped with 32 'TV, SAT, DVD and stereo. The living room gives access to a large terrace where the pool is located, with three different depths ideal for children, BBQ and another bathroom with shower.

The house measures about 220 m2 with about 4,000m2 of land.

Lovely finca in its own grounds and close to east coast beaches

This is a very nice finca with 4 bedrooms and a great pool a stones throw from the beaches of the east coast of Majorca. The owners have the house next door and both houses are on olive groves surrounded by cypress trees. The house has everything need for a and the private pool is perfect.

Excellent house with a great swimming pool

Superb hospitality, spacious and well-equipped house, and a super-nice and clean swimming pool for kids as well as adults. Taxi-service in Porto Cristo could be better, but mostly we used our own cars for tips to town.

A lovely villa in a good location

Margalida is a great host. She is there to check you into the gorgeous villa and made sure there was fresh juice and milk for our little ones when we arrived late on a Saturday night. The Villa really is wondeful. The pool, outdoor kitchen and dining area are perfect for a family. We had a wonderful holiday and I certainly recommend it for any family group.

Family holiday

We had a great stay at the Son Drach villa during May half-term. Margalida was a great host, she was there to welcome us and gave us some tips on places to eat in Porto Cristo. The villa was immaculate with great facilities. The pool isn’t heated but it was still plenty warm enough to have a swim and enjoy it (even for our daughters who are 3 and 5). BBQ area is great too! Villa is only 5min drive to Porto Cristo which has a nice beach and easy to park as well as a couple of supermarkets. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Oustanding host and location !

Whoever is not satisfied with Margalida's place is never satisfied in live. The place is outstanding, the pool is a dream, the host is the best we ever had and we had quite some places we visited. Simple example, the internet didn't work when we arrived. It took Margalida less than 1 hr to come along with a qualified technican to fix it. The kichten is ideally equipped all is there. The bbq area is fantastic. The birds in the morning - that was music to our ears. The bathrooms just perfect. Only the mosquitos at night have been some nights challenging, but this is all over the island.

Beautiful villa close to Porto Cristo

Eight of us stayed at Son Drach for a family wedding in Porto Cristo. 6 adults and 2 children. The house is large, comfortable, and very clean. Everything you need is here. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped, we didn’t cook much but you certainly could do. The bedrooms are spacious, and the master has a very big en-suite with bath and shower cubicle. The pool is the piĂšce de rĂ©sistance, large enough to do lengths, with easy to access via steps for smaller children, we absolutely loved it. Pool towels are provided. We spent long hours under the patio canopy looking over it. Superb. We found the owner to be extremely responsive, and a small issue with an iron was resolved in 10 minutes. The downstairs bedroom has bunk beds, and a double bed but unlike the 3 bedrooms upstairs, has no air con. The owner provided a mosquito net very quickly after we asked for one, we could have done with it from the start, the villa is in open countryside and the mosquitoes are viscous! One small constructive criticism, the master bedroom has a fantastic terrace over looking the pool, but it currently has no furniture so it is unusable. It would be lovely to have a settee and chairs up there We really loved Porto Cristo and Son Drach, and hope to return. Highly recommended.

Belle maison spacieuse et tres bien entretenue. Tout l equipement necessaire est présent. La piscine est grande et magnifique. Il faut une voiture pour se deplacer . Attention sur les 4 chambres seules 3 sont climatisées et c est un problÚme car il fait tres chaud.

Wir haben mit unserer Familie,6 Erwachsene und 1 Kind einen schönen entspannten Urlaub dort verbracht.Das Haus und die Anlage waren in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand. Es war alles vorhanden was man braucht.KĂŒche war auch gut augestattet. Insgesamt ein sehr schönes Haus. Atemberaubende Finca. Tolle Gastgeber und ein unfassbar toller Pool. Zu den nĂŒtzlichen Tipps:HandtĂŒcher, PooltĂŒcher und KĂŒchentĂŒcher sind vorhanden.Es gibt einen Fön - mit mehreren Frauen, kann es also ein wenig lĂ€nger dauern.Tolle Terrasse um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen. Der Pool ist das Highlight.Aber auch die Finca an sich ist toll. Im Obergeschoss 3 Schlafzimmer mit Klimanlagen und 2 BĂ€dern.Im Erdgeschoss gibt es ein Stockbett fĂŒr bis zu 3 Schlafmöglichkeiten (leider ohne Klima) und ein weiteres Bad.Des Weiteren gibt es eine WC und eine Dusche draußen - super um sich nach dem baden kurz zu duschen. Die KĂŒche ist komplett ausgestattet.Man ist in 5 Minuten in Portocristo, aber man benötigt einen Mietwagen.Wir hatten keinerlei Probleme mit Ameisen.Wenn wir Fragen hatten, konnten wir jederzeit mit der Vermieterin sprechen. Rundum eine unglaublich tolle Finca

Toller Pool und hilfsbereite Gastgeber

Um mit den positiven Dingen zu beginnen, die Finca ist sehr sauber und entspricht in vielen Punkten den Beschreibungen und Bildern. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der sehr schöne Pool, der fĂŒr Kleinkinder und Nichtschwimmer sehr gut genutzt werden kann. Es gibt jedoch ein paar Punkte, die bemĂ€ngelt werden können. So entspricht z.B. das kleine GartenhĂ€uschen nicht mehr den Bildern. Es ist sehr heruntergekommen und erfĂŒllt keinen Zweck. In diesem Zustand möchte dort kein Kind spielen. FĂŒr eine familienfreundliche Finca wĂ€re es auch schön gewesen, wenn die Finca ĂŒber irgendeine Art von Gartenspielzeugen verfĂŒgen wĂŒrde. Platz wĂ€re genug da und andere Fincas bieten so etwas. Leider entsprechen auch die Liegen am Pool und die StĂŒhle auf der Terrasse nicht den Bilder. Die Liegen sind relativ unbequem und teilweise durchgelegen. Ansonsten ist der Außenbereich gepflegt und ansprechend gestaltet. Im Innenbereich fĂ€llt auf, dass der KĂŒhlschrank unbedingt ersetzt werden muss. Er verfĂŒgt zwar ĂŒber eine ausreichende GrĂ¶ĂŸe, weist aber erhebliche Gebrauchsspuren auf.Insgesamt muss festgehalten werden, dass es sich um eine gepflegte und schöne Finca handelt, die enormes Potential besitzt. Mit einigen gezielten Investitionen wĂ€re auf jeden Fall eine noch bessere Bewertung möglich.

Schöne Unterkunft fĂŒr jeden Alters

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt! Die Finca bietet alles, was man fĂŒr einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Der wirklich sehr große und schöne Pool hat die heißen Nachmittage absolut angenehm gemacht. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett gewesen, es hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Die KĂŒche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Die Waschmaschine mit Baby ein absoluter Pluspunkt! Die Lage ist etwas abseits von Porto Christo, sodass man definitiv auf ein Auto angewiesen ist. Allerdings ist man nach 5 Minuten bereits im Hafen. Wer es ruhig/abgelegen aber dennoch relativ zentral mag, der ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Ameisenplage. Ameisen waren ĂŒberall, vor allem in der KĂŒche. Hier sollte tatsĂ€chlich etwas gegen gemacht werden. Wahrscheinlich bleibt es aufgrund der Lage nicht aus, dass Ameisen anzutreffen sind, allerdings musste man sĂ€mtliche Lebensmittel sehr gut verschließen bzw. im Backofen verstauen, da sie sonst am nĂ€chsten Tag nicht mehr genießbar waren. Allem in allem können wir dennoch die Unterkunft mit bestem Wissen und Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
