3B/3BA The Village At Mammoth, Corner Suite In The Clock Tower, Amazing Location

Amazing unit in the Village Lodge resort.

This is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath second floor corner unit with large balcony in the heart of the village clock-tower square. (Literally in the clock-tower) The Village at Mammoth has everything you need for every season.

2 Bedrooms are en suites. (private bathrooms) The suite accommodates up to eight people in your choice of 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Bunk-bed with a full, twin and full trundle mattress and a pullout queen sofa in living room. The suite is just steps away to winter/summer activities, restaurants, shops and more. Some suites claim to be ski in/ski out but it is more like ride the gondola out and ski back. Once you arrive in the underground parking you never need to drive again. We have one parking pass available in the unit once you check-in. Other nearby parking is available as well for an overnight fee.

The Village gondola, which takes you to Canyon Lodge, is only a few steps away or you can conveniently walk across the street to the last free shuttle stop before the Main Lodge.

In the summer, you can watch concerts, fireworks, or other shows in the Main Village Square. Our balcony looks over the Clock-tower Square so there's always something fun to see and lots of people watching. There are are also activities, festivals, restaurants, shops, biking, hiking, horseback, water activities and more.

The suite has a large kitchen with everything you need to feel at home. There is a general store on the first floor with groceries, alcohol and necessities if you forget anything for your trip. Price of unit includes all the resort amenities including Free Village Wifi, heated resort pool, 3 hot tubs, 3 outdoor fire rings, and 3 fitness centers. Our building (White Mountain Lodge) also has a private hot tub and workout room for guests.

The suite includes a reverse osmosis water filtration system in the kitchen. That means no lugging up cases of drinking water during your stay. Most suites only have highly chlorinated tap water available, purified drinking water is an absolute must at 8,000 feet. Makes much better coffee too!

We are close to the elevator so its very easy to get too and from your vehicle or the gondola!

Vida Coffee is about 30 steps from the elevator:) just below this suite. It just doesn't get any more convenient than this. They have great breakfast items and pastries to fuel you up for the day.

The unit is located in the heart of the village square (above the Lakanuki Restaurant/bar) so you can be part of just about everything. The suite faces the main interior courtyard leading to the pool area and that does mean a little more noise on the weekends and holidays. The restaurant does have dance music on busy season weekends. Please read our reviews for other guest comments. Refunds are not provided for noise complaints.

Our family of five stayed here MLK weekend and I should’ve read the reviews and description closer. All three nights of our stay we did not sleep because this home is directly above a club. The DJ would start blaring music around 9:30 and continue until 1-2 in the morning. We had sound machines on, and we could still hear the pounding music. The condo itself is lovely. The location is very convenient for getting to the local gondola and restaurants and a market. The location is also what made it so terrible. The hosts were very helpful in communicating about a few things that needed upkeep, and there is nothing they could do to turn the music down. There were also several fights that went on outside the bar before and after the bars opening, with lots of yelling. I wish I could give it a higher rating, but we really didn’t sleep, and that sleep would’ve made it so much nicer to have better days for skiing and doing activities in the area.

Terrible experience. Unit is above a night club that has a DJ until 2am on Thursday/Friday/Saturday. Hosts feigned ignorance until I sent a picture of their in unit binder saying to expect music until 2am. At the time of booking the listing on stated unit was "above a restaurant" and that they don't provide refunds based on noise, so yeah they knew exactly what they were doing with the misleading listing.

Condo was great if on a Sunday to Thursday...Don't stay on a Friday or Saturday night! The Tiki Bar below plays extremely loud music until 2AM then the drunks pour out into the square and scream, vomit in bushes and urinate on the building walls. Basically no sleep on those 2 nights...Good spot on other nights. Unfortunately we wont be staying here again in the future.

Great property with secure underground parking right in the heart of a lively area. This spacious condo had plenty of room for everyone in our party and has a balcony overlooking a nice little village area. Close to some interesting restaurants, shops and the village gondola too. Would highly recommend this place for families or groups that want to be close to the action.

This is a lovely, clean, spacious property in the heart of Mammoth Village. There was plenty of room for our party of 5. The one caveat, and the only reason that we would not stay here again, is that it is located directly above a bar that becomes a nightclub. The club causes the condo to pulsate with music until 2 AM, at least on Thursday and Friday night. The normal village noise Sun-Wed is no biggie - we expected that. But the noise from the nightclub made it impossible for my husband and I to sleep. I think if you are planning to be out late at night, this is an ideal rental with all the perks of the Village. If you are a family with young children, though, or light sleepers, I wouldn’t recommend it over the weekend at least. I do have to say that we stayed in the summer and there is no A/C, so the windows were open and this undoubtably amplified the noise issue. Overall we had a lovely time and enjoyed being right in the Village.

the Good, the bad and the Ugly

First off, the location was great. a short walk to the gondola for skiing, multiple restaurants and a small market. Loved that!The condo was ok. Many remotes with no batteries. A mystery on working the tv and the owner didnt even know they had a dvd player when we asked him how to use it.Not a single Keurig supplied for coffee maker. Light switches gave light shocks.But the main reason we will never stay there again is this: The bar below had pounding techno music three out of our four nights until almost 2 in the morning. it was awful. Two of the guests left and went to a hotel in town as they could not sleep. The owners/managers did say there was noise but noise is one thing and trying to sleep with a sound machine, ear plugs and having the condo literally vibrating with the thumping music, well, that is ridiculous.Also, for a thgree bedroom, know there is only one parking pass.I guess that is what a condo for over 1000 a night gets you in Mammoth. Ugh!!!

Easy access to everything you need

We had a great stay at this property in Mammoth. The place was well-organized, and the host provided clear pre-arrival instructions, making check-in and check-out easy. Everything was taken care of, which made our stay hassle-free.The location is ideal—convenience stores, shopping, and great dining options are all nearby. If you’re here for skiing, the gondola is within walking distance, making it very convenient to get to Canyon Lodge quickly.The unit itself was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only downside was the noise from the club underneath, which can be loud until around 2 AM. The host does provide earplugs, which helped, but it’s something to keep in mind.Overall, it’s a great place to stay for convenience, comfort, and easy ski access in Mammoth.

Loud but Location

Most critical, it’s a perfect village location. We didn’t need to drive anywhere to access anything. Great amount of space. Lovely homeowners. It’s on top of a nightclub that goes off right around bedtime and lasts until 2am. I suggest installing thick window treatments to help muffle noise & add noise machines in each bedroom. We ran two simultaneous noise machines and it helped. Perfect place. They will figure out the noise.

Beautiful but noisy!

We enjoyed the unit very much. It was clean and well appointed. Unfortunately, the unit is right about a popular bar and nightclub. On the Saturday night we stayed, the nightclub had an event that was very loud. Although the party ended at about 10PM, many of the partygoers lingered outside and were noisy for a long while afterwards.
