Steps from Canyon Lodge! Deluxe & Remodeled, 1 Car Underground Parking

Beautifully remodeled three bedroom, three bathroom condo directly across the street from the lifts at Canyon Lodge, you literally cannot get any closer to the slopes! This unit has been completely remodeled floor to ceiling, no expense spared, including flooring, lighting, bathrooms, furniture and appliances!

The living and dining area are equipped with new, custom lighting and faux wood tile floors. The refurbished and expanded kitchen features granite counters, top of the line stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets and backsplash, a convection oven and all the trimmings for preparing a gourmet meal for friends and family. The dining area has a wood dining table with seating for 8, along with a bar area with stools around the kitchen.

The living area features a large 50" flat screen Smart TV mounted above the fireplace on custom built ledger stone, and a comfortable sectional sofa. Adjacent to the living room is a sliding glass door and private deck overlooking the community pool and spa with a peek-a-boo view of Mammoth Mountain.

The first master bedroom is privately located on the second floor, and has another 50" flat screen Smart TV, DVD Player, Eastern King bed, plenty of closet and drawer space and an attached bath with granite counters, sinks for two, custom cabinetry and a steam shower! The second master bedroom downstairs has a unique setup, with a custom built bunk bed with an Eastern King bed on top and a Queen bed on the bottom, and an attached bath with granite counters, faux wood tile floors, shower and tub. The third bedroom has a traditional bunk set with a Queen on the bottom and a long Twin on the top, and the third bath features a beautifully tiled shower.

Altogether a spectacular mountain condo for a discerning family. This property is adjacent to the lifts, sport shop and ski school at Canyon Lodge, as well as the Village Gondola allowing easy access to all the shops, restaurants and nightlife at the Village at Mammoth. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. The property sleeps 9, there are 16 steps to get to the condo entrance, and has cable TV, high speed wireless Internet, one assigned parking spot in the underground garage (clearance 7' 2"), and an included ski locker at the condo for all your gear! Exactly as pictured

This was my first time ever staying in a rental like this. Usually always stay in hotels. The place was nice and super quiet. I only have a couple negative things to say and that is the blankets and towels. There were dried (obviously washed though) stains on the blankets. The towels due to my allergies made my face break out and aggetated. Im not sure what the blankets and towels are washed in but it really affected my skin allergies. Again, I have only ever stayed in hotels and don't know how things are washed with these type of rentals. Otherwise it was a great stay. Next time I know to just bring some of my own blankets and towels. I would stay here again.

Comfortable home away from home

Our family really enjoyed this condo! The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook meals & it was the cleanest property I’ve ever rented! The steam shower was flashing a blue light & wouldn’t work. We emailed the property manager but after 24hrs without a reply my husband did some “Googling”, found the flashing error code & learned how to reset the unit. The only thing that would’ve made this condo perfect would’ve been AC. Being on the third floor it would get pretty warm by the end of the day which made going to sleep a bit too warm. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood & we hope to be back!

Located on the third floor and hot in the summer

This property is ideal for winter, and short stays, but would not recommend it for the summer or longer stays. Things I wish they listed before booking- This unit is located on the third floor and there is no elevator, so if you have elderly, disabled, or infants this can be very problematic . Unfortunately all three was the case for us. Also since heat rises, the unit gets really hot at night. The top room which looks like a converted loft, does have high ceilings and a ceiling fan, but we still had to keep the windows open all night long. There were some loud parties outside, which made for some sleepless nights.. Also in the day there was construction across the street. Lastly, clean towels are provided, but you are responsible for washing them during your stay. There is a coin operated washer downstairs that we used in a not so desirable laundry room. Although the unit looked clean to the eye, there was dust, and an old tangerine under the couch. Probably no one would have noticed this unless you have babies crawling around such as in our case. Not a big deal though. After going back and forth with the property management company a few times, they did finally agree to move us, but by that time the effort the cost was not worth it, so we decided to stay put. To summarize if it was just my husband and I skiing in the winter, we would stay here again, but if it was my whole family (baby and grandparents included) we would pass.
