Stonegate private homes are the ultimate in Mammoth Luxury! From the moment you step inside you will be impressed with the magnificent wood beams, hand hewn floors and stunning cook's kitchen. This home is the largest of the Stonegate floor plans and at 3,500 square feet, this 4 bedroom with loft, 5 bath home offers plenty of space to accomodate larger groups. Every bedroom has it's own ensuite bathroom attached with top of the line bedding for your comfort. After a long day of outdoor activities, relax in your own private jacuzzi tub and take in the views from the deck. You are close enough to walk to the Village for skiing, night life, restaurants and shops but also nestled in a quiet neighborhood on the Sierra Star Golf Course. You are also across the street from Sam's Woodsite so Bluesapalooza concerts, summer art festivals and outdoor activities are right outside your door! The open concept kitchen and living room allows for cooks to prepare meals at home while enjoying company. The upstairs deck has a gas BBQ for outdoor grilling. The living room has comfortable couches, a flat screen HDTV and a gas log fireplace to warm up after a day on the slopes. The loft is a great space for kids with a foosball table, computer desk and pull out couch. The master bedroom is perfect for a romantic getaway with a stone fireplace, comfortable seating area, and large master bath with soaking tub and three head shower. There is also a downstairs den with Game consoles, HDTV, and sleeper sofa. The place hosted our party of 11 adults and 2 toddlers. Kitchen was well equipped to handle a couple big dinners. Grill was a big plus. Our party enjoyed the two decks, especially the one with the hot tub.Pull out beds were not very comfortable but the actual beds were great!Host was very responsive and I would book this place again!

This home has a fabulous great room with a vaulted ceiling and tall windows that look out on pine trees. The room and its balcony feel totally private. The kitchen was well equipped. We had trouble with the dishwasher and that a mouse was in one bedroom. The owner said he will fix them. Otherwise, a five star stay.

The location of the rental and its spacious living areas were truly wonderful and perfect for our group. We did experience a few maintenance issues that unfortunately weren’t fully resolved during our stay. The dishwasher was out of order, though after letting the host know, two and a half days later, a kind handiman was able to get the top rack running for a few cups and glasses. The kitchen griddle and ice maker were not functioning the entire week, and the DVD player was missing cables, while one TV had no remote. The loft (5th bedroom) is not private and has a pull-out sofa rather than a bed. With 13 people, hand-washing dishes became part of our routine—but we still enjoyed an excellent vacation together. Communication from the host was minimal, so perhaps it was simply an off week.

Just a beautiful home for a large group

The views upon entry are just amazing with the huge windows. The kitchen and two islands lend themselves to preparing large meals for everyone and are well equipped. We used every amenity of this property and especially loved the hot tub (spa) and it's location. We are a family of 6 adults, 4 younger adults, 2 teens and a 10 year old. The home gave us all individual space while allowing us all to be together in the large living space. Highly recommended and thank you owners for the great communication.

Amazing Stay

Great house for a group stay. The house was very clean and had plenty of space for us to hangout. The loft area with the foosball table was a huge hit for us. The distance to the village was great. We could walk to and from the village in a short amount of time. Any questions and the hosts responded in a timely manner. Will definitely be booking in the future.

Beautiful Home...

The house is spacious, clean and lovely. However there were some communication and housekeeping faults. Our check in was delayed by 1.5 hours. I contacted the host the day prior about check in and received no reply. Upon arrival at the designated time, the cleaners had not begun cleaning. We were not cleared until 5:30pm.The bath towels were missing from multiple rooms. There were no towels provided for the jacuzzi. The kitchen only had 2 towels for an extensive kitchen. The utensils and cooking supplies were in deficit. We did get more towels delivered but it was not an easy task.I will say that the number of guests stated is a reach. The fold out couch in the lower level was uncomfortable. The upstairs loft is not ideal for sleeping. There was an inflatable bed provided, but no linens.The most unfortunate incident was being locked out of the house. The only key was in a lockbox. When we left the house with the key inside accidentally, I contacted the owner, who took an extended time to reply. When we did connect, she blamed me for the error and told me I was wrong by not reading posted instructions (which were not posted). She told me there was no spare key and I had to wait 40 minutes for someone to come assist us.Overall we had a good stay. Mammoth is amazing and the location of the home is ideal.I would say the owner needs to improve on communication and simple fixes to make this a 5 star stay.

Great location, spacious place

We stayed here from January 1st to 5th, and it was an excellent experience. The two accessible garages were incredibly helpful, especially during the snowstorm on January 3rd. The house was spacious enough for our group of 12, with each room having its own dedicated bathroom. It's conveniently located near the village and just a 4-minute drive to Canyon Lodge. The "mud room" was a great addition, and the washer and dryers worked (need to BYO Detergent). A special mention for the boot dryer—it was much appreciated after long days in the snow. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Stay!

We loved staying at this luxury cabin during our time in Mammoth! It was very clean, beautiful, a close walk to the village and gondola, and equipped with everything we needed! Having the hot tub was great as well and our host was extremely kind and communicative about everything we needed to know as well as assisting in having a few minor issues resolved! Definitely staying here again!

Mammoth vacation home

Stonegate 3 is a clean, spacious, well-equipped and well-tended home that met our needs in every regard. It was the perfect space and perfect locale for grandparents, children and a couple of teens. There were eight of us in total and every feature of the home made it an ideal spot to gather and enjoy the activities of Mammoth.

Great trip and experience

Beautiful, large home, well designed to accommodate large groups with plenty of sleeping, privacy and bathrooms. We were a group of 12. The location is good as well; you can walk (though not with ski boots) to the gondola. We would drop of with our vehicles and then one person would take the easy walk. It worked out very well. Lastly, the home was clean and upgraded making it a very nice experience. We'd love to come back.

Thanksgiving week

We stayed with 11 other family members in this beautiful home! We cooked an amazing thanksgiving dinner and much more. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed everything about the house! It’s the best location, you can walk to the village and get to the mountain from there. This is the perfect mountain home in mammoth. Clean, had everything! The hot tub on cold nights was also so fun. The heated floors in master bathroom was a dream! Has all the luxurious you want. Book the house! Don’t wait. :)
