Whilst this was one of the nicest and most comfortable rooms we stayed in in the area, the service was unfortunately very poor and unprofessional. There was no one at reception when we arrived in the afternoon, and no one was answering the phone number displayed outside reception to call if unattended. We called at least 10 times over a period of several hours and calls were ignored or declined. Eventually I got a response after texting the same number, just when we had started looking for alternative accommodation and got Expedia involved. They had apparently missed our reservation and weren't expecting any arrivals. Someone eventually came to let us in shortly after 21:30. There was very little in terms of an apology or any sort of service recovery after this incident, no communication. This would have otherwise been an excellent stay, however the service was unacceptable so I cannot recommend this.

Great place to stop overnight from ferry. The pet friendly room was comfortable clean newly renovated and quiet considering its SH1 location. We arrived after hours and the room was warmed and tv on for us which was very welcoming. Communication was great. Well priced. Highly recommend.

Clean and Modern

Really clean and modern room. Only tiny error was we were given 2 towels and there were 3 people booked. Bar that I would totally stay again in summer when we can take advantage of the whole set up.
