I’ve stayed here once before and loved it so much that we had to pay another visit. However it just didn’t feel the same as we could hear the bedrooms next to ours and out into the corridor very clearly which was slightly off putting, e.g. clicking of plugs, mumbled talking and running shower water as if it was our shower running. Overall our stay was great and such a comfy bed, it was just the sound that knocked the score.

Wonderful hotel more personal than the big chains.Love the fact that breakfast is cooked to order with full waiter service.The staff are all genuinely pleasant and attentive. This is our second stay here it won't be the last.

Very pleasant stay

Great hotel in the heart of Manchester. Rooms very spacious with comfortable beds. Only slight downside was that there was only one small lift that was quite slow, meaning a bit of waiting at check out times if on one of the higher floors.

The hotel has kept many retro features which give lots of character. Our room was spacious and welcoming with a very comfortable bed. The shower was excellent and very clean, in fact looked new. Food and drink in the bar area was very good and not expensive for the location. Finally, all of the staff were very helpful and friendly.
