Guests at Chalet Morclan vary from couples who want a base from which to explore this beautiful corner of the Alps, to families wanting to spend quality time together, to sports fans itching to experience or observe the vast array of local sporting possibilities and events, all year round.

A stay at the chalet enables guests to combine enjoying peace and quiet, stunning views, and opportunities to observe wildlife up close and personal, with proximity to a great ski resort set in the heart of the Aravis mountains, just a short drive away, and the fabulous Lake Annecy and Annecy itself a little further. It's no wonder guests frequently return to Chalet Morclan!

Chalet Morclan sits on the crest of a hill and therefore has amazing, virtually 360 degree panaormic views. Summer and winter enjoy the views of the beautiful Manigod valley from the large deck area which wraps around two sides of the chalet. Follow the sunshine, with a different view for each meal!

There is a flat garden above the chalet with trampoline and table tennis. The hot tub sits at one end of the deck, so that guests can appreciate the scenery while relaxing in the bubbles. Furnishings, soft furnishings and deco are changed regularly, equipment, games, books etc are also checked and updated often to ensure guests enjoy a fresh and clean holiday experience. There is an open fire in the lounge, and the largest bedroom upstairs also has a TV and seating, meaning guests can spread out if they so wish.

Please note: the drive to the chalet is quite steep, every effort will be made to have it cleared of snow on arrival and departure days, be aware you may need to leave your car at the bottom of the drive and walk up. Furthermore, the shed (mazot) by the parking belongs to a neighbouring farmer, who needs occasional access to the equipment within all year round. Please do not park in front of it. IMPORTANT – Due to the harsh Alpine weather, the summer deck furniture (including the angled parasols), is not available from the end of the October/November French school holidays, until the end of April. Instead, we provide all-weather seating plus a picnic table with benches for guests to use.For guest safety, the trampoline is not available from the end of the October/November French school holidays, until the end of April. The property is not suitable for guests with restricted mobility.



The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee to be set up
before arrival. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your card details are securely held for
up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

A Wonderful Stay at Chalet Moreclan

The location of the property is great! The views are spectacular and on the terrace you have sunshine all day! Everything in the chalet and kitchen was available to cook, eat a great meal with your family and make your stay as pleasant as possible. The sitting area is a bit small for 8 persons. Contact with Grace and Tom was easy and they are very kind and helpful! We had a great stay at Chalet Moreclan!

Peaceful and Relaxing Stay

The accommodation perfectly matched the photos. Communication with Thomas and Grace was smooth, both before our arrival and during our stay. The location of the house was ideal for hiking, with many trails accessible within a few minutes by car. The house is situated in a very quiet area. We particularly enjoyed the heated hot tub, which was a great way to relax after hiking. Our two dogs also really enjoyed the stay. However, it is worth noting that the terrace is not fenced, so we occasionally had visits from the friendly neighbor’s dog.

Great time in Manigod

We had a great time in Manigod - we were informed about everything in advance, received helpful answers directly to questions and everything worked smoothly. The chalet is mega beautiful, with huge terrace and great views. Only you have to be aware that the nearest bakery is 10 minutes away and the nearest shopping is 15-20 minutes away.

The chalet is charming, comfortable and well thought out. Beautiful large terrace. Thomas and Grâce are attentive and responsive. Lovely stay despite mixed weather, the mountains are always beautiful whatever the weather. The snow-capped peaks are magnificent, as are the valley and the misty forests. We made the most of the jacuzzi above the clouds as if in the clouds. The little one loved the children's library. The family is delighted. Thank you for the recommendations of walks and tables, and also for being so accommodating.

Merveilleux séjour à Manigod

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce chalet à Manigod. Le chalet est extrêmement confortable, avec de très beaux matériaux et une décoration soignée qui crée une atmosphère chaleureuse et authentique. Petits et grands ont particulièrement apprécié les soirées au coin du feu, autour de la cheminée, après de belles journées à la montagne. Un grand merci également au service de conciergerie : Thomas et Grâce ont été très disponibles et nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse, en prenant le temps de tout nous expliquer dès notre arrivée, avec en prime de précieux conseils et de bonnes adresses. Nous ne connaissions pas cette station et repartons ravis de notre séjour. Une très belle découverte !

Que dire ? Un séjour parfait en tous points ! Le logement est idéalement situé et équipé de tout ce qui est nécessaire, et encore mieux : tout ce qu’il faut pour deux jeunes enfants : baignoire, chaises hautes, pots, vaisselle pour enfants, barrière de sécurité… bref, de quoi voyager léger ! Merveilleux endroit pour des vacances reposantes. Le panorama est grandiose et les installations extérieures bien aménagées et confortables. A l’intérieur tout est bien équipé, organisé, propre et moderne . Belle cuisine, salle à manger et salon convivial et les chambres et salle de bain sont invitantes. Le wifi était intermittent mais il s’agit peut être d’un problème local exceptionnel. Merci aux propriétaires et à Grace pour son accueil chaleureux. Nous étions quatre québécoises en voyage et on a beaucoup apprécié. On recommande !
