We did a short stay, checked in late and left early. Staff was easy to work with and friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. They even called us to say we left an article of clothing after we checked out so we could go back and pick it up.

Upon check in Ron was very helpful about sites to visit in the area. The room was convenient, clean and just what we were looking for in our last night in the UP on an 8 night driving tour. A nice stay in Manistique.

Ive probably only stayed at about a handful kf motels in my whole life, always choosing to stay at hotels. But this was a last minute trip on a holiday weekend with very few places having availability. Reviews were good here so thought i would give it a try. Was presently surprised how nice it was. Older motel that has been recently updated. Bathroom had newer hardware. Room had new windows, you could tell the owner put money into fixing up the motel. The owner was super nice checking us in and out the next morning. They had coffee, fruit and bars in the lobby in the morning. Bed in the room was a little hard for us but i know everyone has there own preferences when it comes to beds. Towels were a bit threadbare so i would recommend thise get updated soon. Room was clean and we felt very safe. There was a big storm that knocked out power in the middle of the night so the internet was out in town, but nothing he could have done about that. Overall if i ever come back to this area i will stay here again and will recommend to others.

We stayed there two nights, bookending a week in Marquette, and really loved how cute the room was, the retro pink tiles in the bathroom, and the peaceful 1950s vibe of this old school north woods motel.

Great option!

It is a beautiful room, very nice, peaceful, clean. The bed was very soft, however, which made for a difficult night sleeping for us as a couple who need a firmer sleep to not wake up with back aches.

We really enjoyed staying here. The room was very clean. The furnishing were beautiful and functional. The bed was very comfortable. Our host this weekend was Ronn at the service desk and he was very friendly and professional. We will gladly stay here again when we are in the area!
