Property really well fitted out, warm and comfortable. Only issues were:Bed in main bedroom - way too soft. I like a firm mattress but even medium is ok. But this sunk a foot as soon as you sat on it.Outside lighting - fell over the slight step in the back yard about 3 times before I made sure to use a torch.
Cottage and yard dog friendly. Accomodation was extremely well presented and deserved its 5 star rating. all facilities in Edwinstowe easily reached on foot. Would recommend staying at Robins Nest.
Great place to stay, clean and very well equipped and great decor. Nice little courtyard outside to sit. Would definitely recommend and stay again when in the area. Edwinstowe lovely little village with plenty of places to eat out
We stayed with our dog for a long weekend and found the property to be welcoming (thanks for the wine, biscuits and dog treats!) with a lot of attention paid to the small things that make a stay great. For example, storing an extension lead with the hairdryer so you can see a mirror while drying your hair. The location of Robin's Nest is superb - you can easily walk to Sherwood Forest and you are surrounded by pubs, restaurants, shops and takeaways, all within walking distance. The small patio garden is very secure which was great for the dog, and there are several other attractions a very short drive away. Highly recommended
Could not fault the accommodation, absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, a pub opposite and a Chinese next door, it was perfect!! I would definitely love to stay again.
