This is a very convenient location, for my purposes. It is very old school motel, but I don’t need more in Marceline. The room was clean and had a fridge/microwave. There’s no closet nor hangers. However, upon opening the door, it was humid inside and smelled of mildew. The room cooling was on the wrong setting, creating the dampness and smell. Once it was changed to “Dry” and a much cooler temp setting, all cleared up. Yes, I would stay here, again.

Nice place - Probably Will Stay Here Again!

I've stayed here two other times. This room was bigger since it had a king size bed and a larger bathroom. I wish it had a small table next to the chair like my previous rooms had so if I was having a snack or breakfast, I had a place to put the food and eat, rather than on the bed/nightstand area.

Stayed two nights for the wine stroll and art event. Dated, but clean and reasonable. Casey's across the street and great donut shop next door. Will stay there again.

NOT a Hotel

This is NOT a hotel. It is a motel. The rooms are very dark. No ice machine. You had to get it from the front desk which is NOT open 24/7. No coffeemaker. It does have a microwave and mini-fridge. No closet. Don’t stay here on a Monday. The whole town is closed on Mondays. Only one restaurant was open and it was forgettable. I definitely would NOT stay here again.

Beds were nice. The property did not match what we had seen at booking. We thought it was supposed to have laundry facilities, two bathrooms and a pull out bed but those were not provided. Overall it was a nice place to stay and very comfortable.

Mildewy room & DIRTY staff

The first guy that checked us in was great…undertrained but super nice and accomadating. We decided to stay an extra night and booked on hotels.com again so when we went to re-check in the next day the guy at the front desk was HORRIBLE, mean, dirty AND while I was at the gas station went into our room without knocking. My husband was in the bathtub with the door shut and without knocking the man walked into the bathroom. This made my husband uneasy as he felt the man as hoping it was me in there. We spoke with hotels.com reps(who were WONDERFUL and patient) and because of the situations they so kindly moved us to another hotel and paid the difference!

Very clean and quiet. Room was small but sufficient for a one-night stay. Check-in was quick and pain less. Motel is conveniently located with main road, gas station and donuts close by!

Not thrilled with little town motel

Given ive from cubes made in ice trays. Very little ice available. Wanted a larger room none apparently available. Clerk rarely at site. Old car in our parking space & never moved. Very small room. Old key style; motel old & in need of renovation. No water offered & clerk told me I couldn’t use the pool as it as advertised. Learned this was wrong so I missed out on swimming! Pool was public type & open. Won’t stay there again! Not worth $$ charged.

there was no stay. we arrived at 1.00 pm and no one was on the property. we called for 4 hours and i finally went somewhere else in the storms. we finally got someone named mike and he said he dindnt know he was supposed to have the phone on call. they still charged me for 2 nights and we are fighting to get our money back. what hotel has no staff on site?
