Imagine a deluxe condominium that’s filled with amenities and placed on one of the world’s most renowned beaches. Well, this is a reality at the Marco Beach Ocean Resort. This 9th floor, one-bedroom beachfront condo sleeps four, with one king bed, one sleeper sofa and one bathroom.

Since this is a beachfront condo, start your day on the balcony with a cup of coffee or tea in your hand, while watching the gentle waves crash on the shoreline of the Marco Island’s crescent shaped beach. Pretty soon, you’ll be down on that beach, luxuriating and basking in the sun. As your day winds down, end your day on the balcony as well, with a tropical blended drink in hand as the setting sun dives into the Gulf of Mexico and turns the sky a brilliant orange.

As you make your way inside, you’ll notice that the interior takes all of its design cues from the beach below. Its sand-inspired walls, along with seaside dĂ©cor, provide you with a constant reminder that you’re truly in paradise. Glass sliding doors brighten the space with natural light and open up for you to enjoy the crisp oceanic breezes and the sound of gentle waves breaking below. Both the living room and master bedroom feature enormous glass windows, offering you a permanent backdrop of the blissfully blue ocean falling into the horizon.

The bright kitchenette comes with all of the modern appliances and cookware, so you can enjoy everything from a family dinner to a tropical treat on the balcony.

When it’s finally time to drift away, the master bedroom, with its ample closet and drawer space, follows the same theme of the entire unit. It also features an en suite bathroom and television, so that you can enjoy your favorite shows before dozing off in paradise.

We want your stay to be nothing short of perfect, so the unit comes with air conditioning and heating, free wi-fi, cable, linens, and towels. You’ve also got beach essentials like beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, and umbrella.

Nice location, property needs attention

Let me start with the positives. - location is excellent- close to JW and nice restaurants- front door and lobby staff were very nice- room size and layout were as described- king bed very comfortableNegatives (these are my opinions)- parking garage elevator down and won’t be for a while- only ONE lobby elevator working. Supposedly been that way for a while- only ice makers working were on floor 7 & 11- extra pillows for pullout sofa were disgusting and yellow stained.- pool and deck under construction, which we knew in advance of booking but still a mess and annoying- dorm refrigerator doesn’t hold much - check in process a little confusing as it tells you to go to offsite office. We went to front lobby and attendant said we didn’t need to go there and could check in there. Seems to be miscommunication between on-site and offsite staff.Overall okay but wouldn’t go back until construction is completed and things are fixed. Also don’t recommend more than 2 people as the pullout makes it crowded.

Overall we enjoyed our stay! Very clean condo! Location is excellent! View amazing! Perfect for the 2 of us. Closet in the hall is filled with all your beach needs. Kitchen stocked well with dishes, pans etc for food prep. There are some hiccups as the units are transitioning to condos. I think using the actual front desk vs a tacky table in the entry would be better for the desired upscale atmosphere. There is some confusion regarding what is available to use when renting this condo. That said we would still recommend this condo.

Broken AC and broken freezer

Got to the unit after a long day of travel. No AC! 90 degrees in the unit and so humid the mirrors were dripping water. After hours line said there was nothing they could do until the next day. Begged a nearby hotel for a one night ($900/night) stay. Returned to the unit next day, AC was repaired. However freezer in the mini fridge was so frozen over you couldn’t get anything in there. Small unit and not maintained well. But good location. Won’t be staying here again. No one comp’d the hotel stay so this was a very expensive 3 night stay. 0/10 recommendation.

Long weekend

Just as listed. Perfect location, great views and easy access to beach. Communication with owners was very efficient. Small fridge, no dishwasher or laundry but wasn’t really necessary for the short stay. Bring extra soap and toilet paper. Only downside was the air conditioner. Didn’t get very cool! Will be back!

Convenient location

With exception of patio furniture (too small) condo was fine. Property seemed in disarray. We’ve been guests for several years but this year not all elevators were working properly. Twice we had to take freight elevator. Poolside bar/restaurant unavailable and inconvenient because elevator to beach was not working. Would like to return but hope that all kinks will be worked out. Valet staff was outstanding: TK, Plaumed and Greg were always courteous, friendly and helpful. In addition, the Beach Bar staff was as lovely as valet staff.

Nice apartment, great location

We stayed 4 nights at this location and were happy with the cleanliness and the property. Location is superb. Beautiful beach. Be warned that it's quite small - not suitable for more than 2 adults. Beach chairs and cooler provided, which was a nice plus. No hassles once you figure out the elevators.
