Recently renovated condo perfect a quick get away

Recently updated and completely redone this 2 bed 1 bath condo is perfect for that quick getaway or even longer. As you walk in you will find the kitchen open to the living area with breakfast bar, stainless teel appliances and even a wine cooler. The living room has ample seating with a sofa, and love seat. There is a flat screen TV in the living room but the best area of this condo is on the balcony with views of the Marco River and the Marina.
The Master bedroom has a queen bed and the guest bedroom has a flat screen TV and the guest bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin on the top and full on the bottom and a separate trundle that pulls out to a twin bed. This bedroom also has a flat screen TV.
Anglers Cove is on the Bay and has 2 pools, 3 jacuzzies, tennis court and the famous Dolphin Tiki Bar Restaurant on the water open daily. Catch your fish on the daily charters next door and have the Tiki Bar restaurant cook you the best fish dinner you'll ever have! Or just enjoy their daily specials.

Breathe much?

Angler's Cove condominiums are located about a par-4 golf hole (and often downwind) from the Marco Island sewage treatment plant. Yes, it smells. As someone who worked with sewage treatment facilities for 35 years, I picked up the smell quickly, and a look at the satellite image on your favorite online mapping app clearly shows the sewage treatment tanks and associated equipment just south of Angler's Cove. The decision not to disclose this issue does not reflect well on VRBO or Clausen Properties Rentals, Inc. Additionally, Angler's Cove is very smoker friendly (we are not), and there is a large smoking area right underneath the unit we were in. That area is occupied during the dinner hour every day, weather permitting, by a loud group of residents who find themselves quite amusing. We did not. We could not use our balcony/lanai as much as we would have liked. The condo unit itself was fine, and generally we enjoyed our time on Marco Island. But we did not appreciate being surprised by the odor issues and noisy/inconsiderate people and would not choose to stay again at Angler's Cove.

Summer Getaway

The condo was centrally located to everything. It’s only a 5-10 minute drive to the beach. It is lovely place with everything one would need. It has a nice view of the marina from the patio which was my favorite spot.

Anglers Cove

Condo and property were very well kept. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back. The pools were great but the only negative is that they closed at dusk and weren't able to use the hot tubs at night. Overall, our experience was top notch.

Enjoyable Stay on Marco Island at Angler's Cove

Our stay on Marco Island at Angler's Cove was very enjoyable and pleasant. The team at Clausen Properties was very easy to work with and quick to respond to our requests and questions. The condo is updated and decorated nicely, with all the necessities you may need. The two pools and jacuzzi areas are very quiet and relaxing. The pools are heated, which was a nice plus on the cooler days we experienced while on our trip. The location of the condo was great and easy to get to from Fort Myers airport in under 50 minutes, 10 minutes to south beach and 30 minutes to Naples. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking a stay at the condo again in the near future.

Beautiful condo

Everything was as described if not better. Lots of amenities, great views and high standard of decor. We own in the building and due to a number of family meeting up, needed to rent and wouldn’t hesitate booking here again.

Perfect Getaway

You cannot beat Angler’s Cove - and this condo is one of the most beautiful condos in the complex. Also property manager is very responsive - we had an issue with the A/C and it was fixed right away.

Great Spot!

This condo was just as pictured. Beautiful, yet felt comfortable to curl up on the couch. Had everything we needed. Property Manager was super responsive! It’s a great locations, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend.

Family Vacation

We had a great time on Marco Island. The condo is absolutely beautiful, clean and has all the amenities you need. Beds were comfortable and the layout was great for our family of 4. Easy check in as well! The biggest disappointment was the actual complex of Anglers Cove. We have a 5 year old boy and 8 year old girl. They were in bed every night by 9pm. On our second day we received complaints of doors slamming and yelling. We also purchased footballs and pool toys to play with. One afternoon we left them on a chair at the pool knowing we would be back in a couple hours. They went missing and were never turned into the office. Bummer! We received many looks at the pool, I felt like I had to be constantly shushing my kiddos. As a family with kids, we were walking on egg shells as the average age in the complex was 70. Thank goodness we had friends staying at Old Marco Inn and spent more time there. This complex is NOT KID friendly!
