We were looking for a big house with a private pool in a lovely part of France that guaranteed good weather, access to sightseeing and was near an airport to collect family members who werenât travelling by car. On all counts the house delivered. Mathias was extremely helpful and always available to answer any questions. We visited Arles, the Carmargue and NĂźmes. There is a big supermarket nearby (E Leclerc) and an artisan bakery just a few minutes by car. The garden is the main selling point - just gorgeous and plenty of space for all ages. Weâd definitely go again!
House was as expected of an 18th century Mas.
Some of the furnishings were a little tired.Downstairs bedroom needed air conditioning or a fan. Very hot when we visited. More bathroom and tea towels needed for 10 people.Garden area and the large pool are outstanding.
Plenty of seating and sun loungers. Nice covered outside table for alfresco dining. Downstairs bathroom and the top bedroom and en suite are very modern and you can see that Mathias is working very hard to improve this property. I am sure that he will succeed.
I would recommend this property.
We had a really nice two weeks at the house which is much larger than expected (as noted by others).
Only 10 mins from NĂźmes and 35 from Uzes. Bakery and butcher etc within 6 mins drive.
The Hosts are INCREDIBLY responsive. The fridge broke and the next day they dropped off another one. And there was already a second fridge which we used in the interim.
Rooms all clean. Three singles in one room and an unlisted extra room downstairs with another bed. So plenty of space for two families of five.
Some of the decor is a bit tired but all the photos were accurate. It just felt a bit darker than they suggest. Only two sofas in the living room (as shown) so perhaps not so good if the weather is bad? But the weather was great for most of our stay and we lived in the garden and the pool!
What an amazing two weeks we have just had. The house and pool were lovely and contained everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Mireille, Phillipe and their son were so charming, lovely, helpful and kind, any queries or slight issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently and we were invited to take full advantage of the heavily laden fig tree outside the front door and we did....delicious!! Audrei, who met us on our arrival could not have been nicer and provided us with fresh eggs, tomatoes and basil as well as water, orange juice and a lovely bottle of wine.
The house was perfectly placed for our many excursions to Nimes, Arles, Avignon, Le Grau-de-Roi, Baux-des-Provences and many other places.
The pool was the perfect temperature and provided welcome relief for children and adults alike after our many trips out in the seering heat.
A beautiful house and perfectly lovely owners. We hope to revisit this villa again in the future.
The property is larger than I thought it would be we are a family of 10 and there was more than enough room for all of us
There are three large family double bedrooms and three smaller rooms suitable for children
The swimming pool is very large and the kids enjoyed it a lot and the garden is quite adequate
The owners next door are very kind and popping from time to time with fruit from their melon Farm the dog sounds terrifying but he is very friendly gentle Giant and the kids loved Tim the cat
It's worth finding out from the owner's where the three different fuse boxes are for the house as on a number of occasions the power did trip
All in all an excellent holiday thoroughly recommended
This was our second stay in the house, and we enjoyed the stay very much. The house is charming and comfortable, and the grounds are extensive and pretty. Our host was very welcoming and did everything possible to ensure that we had a great experience. The wifi was excellent. The week went too quickly and we would have loved to stay longer.
Ruhige Oase - Schönes Haus - Super Pool - NĂ€he zu SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten - Empfehlenswert
We had a wonderful week with our family in this lovely stone house. The courtyard and pool were beautiful and when we were not sight-seeing, we spent happy and relaxing times in the garden. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, providing us with fresh eggs from their hens and doing what they could to improve the rather patchy Internet. We would love to spend another holiday in this delightful and charming house.
