Raymond is a wonderful host, convivial, entertaining and very generous. He personifies all that we love about France and French people.
The apartment is exactly as described, clean and well equipped. It is situated overlooking a vineyard and the exclusive garden is lovely with plenty of space, the opportunity to relax in the sun or in shade, a BBQ and a useful washing line.
It is well situated for visiting any number of historic sites and beautiful towns and bastide villages. We were there in September and the weather was glorious and the wine harvest in full flow.
Raymond was not intrusive, but there for any need we had and was very generous with his time and friendship. His wine tour was very interesting as we visited a number of his friends and their vineyards, the wine making processes and equipment and the tastings were enjoyable!
We have made two good friends, Raymond and Leo the goose! We will definitely return.
Raymond was a wonderful host, very knowledgeable and nothing too much trouble. Coffee making but no kettle. Not a problem as we just boiled water in a saucepan to make tea. Supermarket about 10 minutes away by car. Great wines to try and places to visit.
