Our room felt cozy and clean and we liked the location. It was quiet and comfortable. We were in three different hotels during our recent trip to California, and this hotel was our favorite.

Great location, next to Mariposa Creek and walking trail. Within a stone's throw of the park, where summer concerts were going on for us to walk over and enjoy. Hotel is well maintained, good quality and service across the board. Front-desk staff very welcoming, breakfast decent. Staff deserves credit for running a welcoming place on the way to Yosemite. Location is excellent, with a view of the hills.

The room was clean and the staff was very personable. Unfortunately, they had trouble determining why 4 sets of room keys did not work at our room. They finally determined it was a bad battery in the door. It just put a damper on our trip.

The pool and hot tub were down for scheduled maintenance. We were so looking forward to using them. Why would a hotel do scheduled maintenance during the busy summer season. A note about them being closed for scheduled maintenance should have been on the website 4 months ago when we were reserving. The towels were thin and raggy. The shower handle was falling off. I didn't feel that the property was worth the high amount we paid, but I realize that some of the high price is due to it being somewhat close to a national park.

Very convenient for entry to Yosemite. Staff good especially Clarissa on reception who checked us in and was most helpful, Room Clean, Furniture very dated and tired. WiFi ‘flaky’ No safe in room and small security boxes in reception.

Worked out well since it looks like the highest priced hotel in this small town. Iv never seen earplugs in a hotel before and didn’t realize we needed them until a herd of bison and the Clydesdales moved in above around 9 pm Ceiling was rattling

Older property that has been updated. Room very clean and comfortable. Easy walking access to quaint downtown and an excellent stay for driving to Yosemite. Dog friendly. Good breakfast.

We stayed here during a trip to Yosemite—about 35 miles out, so be prepared for a bit of a drive. The surrounding area has a lot of charm. The hotel itself was fine—clean enough and comfortable, though a bit dated. Breakfast was your typical hotel spread with make-your-own waffles and sausage and biscuits. Nothing fancy, but it did the job. We slept Okay and really enjoyed exploring the town, especially the local history museum and old jail. Overall, a pleasant stay.
