Amazing Stay (Again)

Such gracious hosts, made us feel so welcome and let us know to ask if we needed anything. Will be doing round 3 next year

Posted Apr. 17, 2024 on HomeAwayOur second visit to this delightful cottage with a group of friends was just as amazing as the first! From the warm welcome we received upon arrival to the moment we packed our bags to leave, every aspect of our stay was simply perfect.
Inside, the cottage exuded the same cozy charm we remembered, with all the amenities we could possibly need for a weekend retreat with friends.
Hosts' warmth and genuine care for our enjoyment ensured that every detail was attended to, from providing recommendations for local activities to accommodating our group's specific needs. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to go above and beyond truly made us feel like part of the family.
We were especially grateful for the complimentary late check-out, allowing us to savor every last moment of our time together before reluctantly saying goodbye to this idyllic retreat.
Our second visit only confirmed what we already knew: this cottage holds a special place in our hearts, and we can't wait to return once again. Thank you to the hosts for creating such a welcoming and unforgettable experience!

Amazing time at the Cabin on Crowe

Short but sweet

Perfect Winter Getaway
Posted Jan. 6, 2024 on HomeAwayStayed for New Years weekend…couldn’t have been any more impressed with the condition of the cabin and bunkie. Felt incredibly welcome and at home. So nice to have a cozy fire inside. Beds were comfy and the hot tub felt fantastic.
The owners are so kind and attentive. Wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again…especially in winter. Outdoor fire pit, indoor fireplace and hot tub makes it a dreamy winter getaway.

Family time.
Posted Oct. 24, 2023 on HomeAwayThe property was great, wonderful decor, amenities and location. We live 2600 kms from our adult kids, we stayed to celebrate Thanksgiving and early Christmas. The property was spacious enough to have family dinners and for each of us to have a comfortable space to sleep. Outdoors was wonderful with the water and fall colours. Very quiet.

Pre-Wedding Get Together
Posted Oct. 18, 2023 on HomeAwayWe had an amazing time! The cottages were clean and well maintained with everything we needed for our stay.
We took a trip to the Marmora Mines and went for a walk there which was lovely, and it’s so close to town so if we forgot a few things it wasn’t far away, a huge plus!
I apologize once again for some of the guests flipping the canoe, thank you very much for the rescue!
Ps. Either we are awful and could not figure it out or your coffee machine isn’t working!

The cottage itself was nothing short of a haven. Very clean and beautifully furnished, it exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail in every corner showcased the hosts' dedication to providing a top-notch experience. The interior was not only cozy and inviting but also thoughtfully designed, making us feel right at home.
The pristine lake view right from the cottage was a sight to behold. Mornings were spent enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck, taking in the breathtaking scenery. The tranquillity of the lake was a perfect backdrop to our relaxing weekend. The hosts even offered us access to kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats allowing us to explore the beautiful waters and immerse ourselves in the natural beauty.
What made our stay truly exceptional was the warm hospitality of the hosts. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their enthusiasm to make our stay enjoyable was evident in their attention and care, going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met.
We left the cottage feeling recharged and grateful for the wonderful experience. If you're looking for a beautiful, clean, and welcoming escape, this cottage is an absolute gem!

Fun,Relaxation.

You can sit on the dock, float or swim, paddle, enjoy a calming hot tub, read a book, be hypnotized by the fire while you roast marshmallows. Overall, we had a marvelous vacation thanks to Nick and Rob who made sure we had everything we needed or wanted. Good choice! Really glad we came!
