ABOUT THE APARTMENT

A lovely 170m2 fully-air conditioned apartment comprising of one large main bedroom with a double bed and a small en-suite shower, 2 twin-bed rooms, a separate bathroom, a store room, a larger than usual combined dining/living/kitchen area and an inner courtyard.

The apartment's main door is accessed directly from the street, which means guests do not need to pass through a common area to access the apartment.

Please note that there is NO LIFT and that guests have to climb one flight of stairs - apartment is not suitable for mobility reduced guests.

The apartment has its own free WiFi, a smart TV, a DVD player, a washing machine, a microwave, air conditioners in each bedroom and in the combined area, a hairdryer, etc...

No smoking in the apartment or in the terrace (neighbours above).

ARRIVALS

Arrivals possible 24 hours a day - guests will be instructed how to retrieve the key to the apartment from a safe box.

WHAT IS PROVIDED

Hand and bathroom towels, beach towels and linen will be provided. Basic toiletries will be provided to help guests start their holiday. When basic toiletries run out, they are not replenished by the host.

HEATING AND COOLING

All air-conditioning units are AAA rated and very economical and environmentally friendly. Their usage is metered. Guests find credit already in the meter to make for a reasonably comfortable and at the same time environmentally-friendly stay. The host will not recharge the meter if credit runs out. Guests can insert euro coins to reactivate the air-conditioning.

LOCATION

The apartment is situated at a very short walking distance (one minute) from Marsaxlokk's waterfront and the main square.

Marsaxlokk is a very charming and picturesque fisherman's village, the last of its kind on the island, and is visited by many tourists both during the day and at night. It has many cafes and restaurants, some specializing in fish, two pharmacies, various grocery stores, butchers, a bakery, confectioneries, hairdressers, beauty salons, 2 ATMs, etc...

A bus stop, a grocery store, a butcher, a hairdresser, a children's play area, many restaurants, a renowned fish shop and the sea are just a couple of steps away from the apartment's main door.

There is a large street market every Sunday all along the Marsaxlokk promenade where one can buy not only fish, but also vegetables, toiletries, clothes, souvenirs...

Highly recommendable

The check-im was easy and we were even given access to the cosy flat a few hours earlier. The host reacted quickly when contacted. The kitchen was well-equipped and the flat spacious. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much and can highly recommend the flat.There are lots of good fish restaurants available around the corner and beautiful beaches nearby. Parking our rental car near the flat was no problem, except for Sundays when the village is crowded because of the fish market.All in all highly recommendable.

A lovely spacious property a short walk from the harbour and with a bus stop directly outside. All the facilities you require are catered for in the property. Only complaint was regarding the confusing rubbish and recycling instructions and the requirement to have to get up early to put it out before 7am

We spent a week at the beginning of August . The apartment is very spacious and well equipped with everything you need on holiday. Perfectly functioning air conditioning was a blessing as the weather was really hot. Centrally located with easy access to local amenities and transport links, bus 81 route to Valetta just next to the apartment! Spacious apartment nearby the fish market

This unit is very large and airy, which was great for my group. The kitchen and living areas were comfortable, functional, and equipped with many essentials.The restrooms were less than optimal, but not terrible. The master restroom’s sink is tiny and in an awkward location. The shared restroom does not have a shower and allows the water to spill all over the floor if you attempt to stand to wash due to the lack of an enclosure. The master bedroom’s bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The location was close to the market, a grocery store, and many great places to eat. Parking was convenient. Overall, it was a good place to stay.

A cool oasis in Marsaxlokk

We had a lovely few days in Marsaxlokk. The apartment was easy to find with plenty of parking across the street. The owner's family was helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed the cool A/C and never had to add additional money to keep the A/C running. The 20 euro credit was plenty for our group of 6. I enjoyed the Senseo coffee maker but it was hard to find the pods nearby so we went to the nearby Costa coffee when we ran out. It was awesome to be so near to the market. I woke at 6 to watch the tents and vendors setting up. The Sea Coast Confectionary store is really great and really close. The SPAR isn't too far away for produce. The beds and couch were comfortable. No complaints!

Hidden Gem

This property exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly spacious and the aircon was amazing! The location is fantastic, only one street off main street on the waterfront, walking distance to restaurants, cafes, a great little beach for swimming for little ones, park and convenience stores. We wanted something more traditional so as to have character and this property delivered. It was spotless and the manager was so fantastic. We have a 2yr old and were concerned about the stairs, the manager had a baby gate, high chair and cot for us on arrival. We were so grateful! We also had the airline change our flight and arrived much earlier but when we contacted the manager they arranged for us to be able check in 4hrs early. Spectacular service.

Emplacement correct, près du port. Hébergement propre. Fonctionnel. Gros bémol sur les clims, malheureusement on ne peut pas les allumer en même temps sinon ça disjoncte et aussi il y a un compteur que l'on doit recharger avec de l'argent pour pouvoir profiter de la climatisation plus de 3 jours sinon plus rien, pas même un ventilateur. L'hôte etait agréable et repondait aux messages assez rapidement.

Très bien situé : Au calme mais à deux pas du port de Marsaxlokk et d’une petite plage fréquentée principalement par des maltais. L’appartement est très bien équipé, l’accueil s’est fait à distance mais avec des informations très précises. La climatisation est un vrai plus avec la température à Malte ! On recommande fortement !!!

Appartement très propre et bien placé, propriétaire très réactif

L'appartement est bien placé : les commerces sont à proximités, St Peters Pool et d'autres plage à 5 - 10 minutes en voiture. Beaucoup de restaurants à quelques minutes à pied le long du vieux port. La propriétaire est très réactive et s'occupe tout de suite d'éventuels problèmes. Les places pour garer sont vis-à-vis du logement ou de suite dans les rues avoisinantes. On n'a jamais eu de problème pour se garer. Valette est à quinze minutes avec la voiture, mais devant l'appartement il y a aussi un arrêt de bus bien connecté. La plage "locale" (sable) est à 3 minutes en voiture et St. Peters Pool et d'autres plages (pierre) sont à 5 - 10 minutes en voiture. On n'a pas eu de problème pour se garer. Si on veut se bronzer sur les plages à sable (plus touristiques) au nord de Malte il faut calculer 45 minutes en voiture. Les sites historiques sont joignables en voiture en 5, les plus éloignés en 20 minutes. Dans l'appartement se trouve une bonne documentation des sites qu'on peut visiter. Absolument à recommander !

Très bel appartement, très spacieux et très propre dans un charmant petit village de pêcheurs. Dommage seulement qu'il n'y ait pas de terrasse ni de balcon. Juste une petite cour fermée. Tout était parfait sinon

nous sommes ravis de notre séjour, l'appartement était très grand pour nous et climatisé !!! les promenades sur le port très agréable et nous avons pu nous rendre aisément sur toute l'ile en louant une voiture pendant une semaine et pour le reste de la quinzaine nous sommes déplacés en bus. MERCI

Un sans faute !

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille dans le superbe appartement de Laura ! A l'arrivée, le frigo contenait un nécessaire (lait, fromage, charcuterie...) et une excellente bouteille de vin blanc local : délicate attention ! L'appartement est idéalement situé en seconde ligne du port de pêche à proximité des restaurants et commerces. Un parking gratuit est situé face à l'immeuble. L'appartement très vaste est équipé avec tout le confort moderne (TV, wifi, climatisation, cafetière senseo, jeux de société,...) et il est décoré avec goût. Une cour intérieure permet un accès à l'extérieur bien agréable.. Laura est réactive et à l'écoute de ses hôtes. Merci encore ! Loic
