Martinborough boasts itself on incredible vineyards... take yourself to some of our favourites - Moy Hall, Colombo Martinborough, Schubert Wines, Luna Estate and On Giants` Shoulders. Great for tastings and for lunch.
Just half an hour`s drive from Martinborough is Lake Ferry, a sleepy beach village on the shores of Lake Onoke where it empties into rugged Palliser Bay. Go fishing with views of the South Island, try catching whitebait if you`re here in spring - or just enjoy a sunset dinner at the Lake Ferry Hotel.
The property is a short drive from the centre of Martinborough on an estate of houses, so it is in close proximity to the neighbours. The property has a lot of natural light/ sunshine and is a clean and comfortable new home. Easy check in and check out.
We only stayed one night, excellent location, great amenities, heaps of room, all bedrooms are good sizes, unfortunately it was raining so couldn't enjoy the outdoor deck, would be lovely on a nice evening. Would highly recommend and stay again
The property was lovely, needed a dishbrush and goldie locks for dished, missing pot lids. Didn't know if floor had been cleaned as soles of feet got very dirty. Perhaps a mat at front door might help. Ensuite toilet roll holder needs tightening. An umbrella for the outdoor area would have been nice.
Stayed here with my sister and mother for Mothers Day Weekend. Property manager was quick to respond to any queries. Good size rooms with comfortable large beds. Kitchen very well equipped. Lounge area very comfortable and good sized tv! 10 minute walk into the centre. We all loved our stay, however, my 90 year old mother (who is very fit) did struggle a bit getting up the deep steps to front door. Would be great to have a hand rail of some sort.
Another amazing weekend in sunny Martinborough. The house is fabulous, lovely and clean, short walk to the main square and very quiet neigbourhood. Rooms are all very spacious along with the living and kitchen area. Will definitely be back.
My wife and I enjoyed staying here, large house with great modern facilities, easy walk to town and back access from Pinot Grove takes you straight down to the wineries on the bike, so you miss out the square and traffic.
