Was a lovely hotel with great service and views of the mountains. Close to the beach and good restaurants.
Taxi was a necessity to get back to airport which was expensive as bus and trains were not frequent enough.

Vacation in Massa
Posted Jul. 5, 2022 on HotelsAmazing service!! We stayed for almost two weeks and had no problems. The pool was great and the food was delicious. The hotel is a nice short walk to the beach. Only issue of the location is it’s on a street near a hospital. You hear ambulance sirens during the day when you’re at the pool.

Review of stay at the Hotel Luna, Massa
Posted Aug. 15, 2017 on Expedia
Pros: Great breakfast
Cons: Attention to hotel guests
Location: Small hotel with good swimming pool but it is a good walk away from Massa centre which has a limited number of good restaurants and few bars.
Second stay at the hotel but not as impressive as first visit.
Owners now seem to be more focused on entertaining own family in the hotel and pool area rather than the hotel guests .

Relaxing place to stay
Posted Apr. 5, 2017 on Expedia
Pros: The rooms are large and the bathrooms a good size
Location:
The neighbourhood has many restaurants within easy walking distance. The seaside is a short stroll away.
Hotel Luna provided the ideal base from which to walk three stages of the ancient road from Canterbury to Rome (Via Francigena). The rooms were comfortable and the staff were friendly and spoke english. The breakfast provided was plentiful and the second floor room had plenty of good views onto the sea and mountains.

It was a perfect place to stay to walk the beach area, have dinner, and spend the next morning at the Carrara Marble Mines and museum.
