Great stay at The Family Tree.
Posted Mar. 17, 2024 on HotelsHad a great stay at The Family Tree. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful from start to finish. Lovely breakfast, amazing homemade cakes too. Train station 2 minutes walk away to Cromford, Matlock Bath etc. Would recommend and would stay again.

Great place to stay, cakes are a must

A short visit.
Posted Oct. 1, 2023 on HotelsThe stairs were a bit of a challenge, so make sure you are comfortable with climbing them. The room was “petit” but the hotel is very useful for connections via Paddington. The staff were nice .

We thought that that the breakfast area was somewhat austerre. It could have done with a makeover to make it more welcoming.
Accomcdation and food very good though.
