Wonderful stay. I recommend each guest must be provided with the gate remote as there is a delay in opening the gate or there should be a gateman stationed at the gate
We did not have a good experience at Staybridge apartments. We were given a chalet some distance from the main property which had very poor vehicle access (no road). Our chalet had no towels or soap and initially, no water either. The WiFi password we were given was wrong and the promised satellite TV didn't work. The pre-paid electricity ran out within an hour of check-in and we had coffee-making facilities but no kettle. Worst of all, the air-conditioning was completely useless. After complaining, they moved us to another chalet and sorted out most of the issues but the biggest reason we chose this place, the air-conditioning, just couldn't cope and even at full-tilt it was still hotter inside the chalet than outside. At 11pm, someone fiddled with the power and we lost electricity to the chalet. Our only relief from the heat at that point was our own fan we brought along. With the power out, we instantly soaked the bed linen with sweat and I had to walk in the dark over very uneven terrain to get some help. It was eventually sorted out but by then we were grumpy, hot and had no chance of getting some decent sleep before leaving pre-dawn for a long drive home. Considering also what we paid for this place, there's just no reason for us ever staying here again.
