Had to change rooms because the original one did not need basic clean room standards. Overnight staff was incredibly quick to offer a new room, but that was a bit of a pain as I was staying with my 4yr old so I had to truck all of our stuff down the hall just for a clean room. The second room the a/c didn’t seem to work as well. It seems like the property is attempting to upgrade some things, but there is definitely work to do. Overnight desk worker and breakfast staff were incredibly friendly!

Online it says there is a hot tub. There is no hot tub at this location. We did not stay.

Amanda, at the front desk, was professional, welcoming and genuinely kind and hospitable. Qualities rarely experienced in the hospitality industry anymore. The hotel was full when we stayed and I observed her being courteous and helpful while addressing challenges related to reservations of a group of oil and gas workers requiring extra assistance! As for our room; the two queen beds were clean and comfortable. The room’s bathroom fan was inoperable and the tub was very slow draining while showering. The workout room was also out of order due to water damage from a water pipe rupture from the last freeze. My teenage son enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. We traveled with our small dog without any problems. Overall, an average experience but wanting to take into consideration their staff was dealing with being sold out for at least the two nights we were there. Side note, the Gourmet Chinese Buffet directly across the highway from the hotel was excellent! I’m not normally a buffet fan but my family all enjoyed fresh, hot dinner options after a day of hiking at Robbers Cave State Park!

Avoid this place like the plague

First of all this place is disgusting. I have never stayed at a Comfort Inn, but decided to give it a try being it was the only hotel available with 2 queen beds at the time of my recent stay. From the moment we walked in to the room, I wanted to run out. I had just driven over 7 hours with 2 children and was exhausted. I just wanted a clean place to lay my head…and I did not get that here. The beds were horribly uncomfortable, sheets and blankets to cover with were so thin it was unreal. Not one thick comfortable blanket on either bed. 4 pillows in each bed and 2 of them were these little square things with too big of pillow cases on them, sheets kept coming off the mattress, the bed skirt had dried blood on it, the air conditioner is that big box thing on the wall and it blew directly into one of the beds…so the room was hot. Everything was dusty and pubic hair mixed with dust and dirt was on top of the air conditioner box thing. Had never been wiped. The carpet was full of dirt and pubic hair that would stick on our socks to the point I had to put a wet towel on the floor in front of our beds to clean our feet before we got in bed. There were pubic hairs curled into the “clean” towels. I had to DoorDash cleaning supplies and Lysol so that I could at least feel better about being here. No extra rooms for us to move to. So we had to tough it out. It was the nastiest place I have ever been to next to a hotel in Mississippi. NEVER AGAIN! Avoid this place like the plague.
