Serenity Acres Sanctuary’s Luxury Lodge

We are near Eufaula lake. Close to famous Italian restaurants (Pete’s Place, Gia Comos, etc.) and Famous “Lovera’s Grocery. less than 20 miles from Robbers Cave state park (hiking, fishing, swimming, family fun.) We are very secluded (gated private drive.) The hot tub is ready year round and swimming pool during season.
Serenity Acres is an animal rescue and your pets are welcome as well! There will be an additional $40.00 pet cleaning fee and you must contact host for details prior to arrival.

Guests are welcome to fish in our stocked ponds (catch and release only.) We are willing to help accommodate special occasions, such as weddings, reunions, or any other special occasion, with advanced notice (Please use our “Special Event” listing under Serenity Acres Sanctuary Special Events)
NOTICE: the standard booking for “guest house” is for one guest; additional guests are $50.00 per person and only with advanced notice (at least 24 hrs; which allows us to plan for extra linens, breakfasts, and other complimentary items.) additionally, guest pets, single or multiple, are welcome; an additional $40.00 will be charged for clean up/maintenance fees (please message host for details prior to your arrival.)

The most amazing vacation getaway!

The hosts were incredible! They catered to every need and want. They prepared and served delicious breakfasts every morning and the cabin was an oasis. And finally to be surrounded and being able to interact with all the sweet animals was awesome. We will be back!

We will always come back to stay with Chuck and Klara! Absolutely the best people in the world and are so giving and kind. We cooked out, enjoyed the pool and had the BEST breakfast cooked by them. They always send us home with eggs too. It’s always hard to leave. Can’t wait to return!

Outdoor adventure!

This was in a great location. It is a great place to get away from all stress life offers. We have stayed at several places with VRBO. A few things we loved about Chuck & Klara. First the home cooked breakfast are amazing and a treat! Second the amenities offered were great! From a hot tub to having a stocked kitchen of spices and supplies. We have stayed to where you have to buy salt and pepper just to cook. They have several rescue dogs, chickens, goats etc. This is a place to enjoy nature, unwind and enjoy time as a couple or as a family.

Perfect, relaxing, pet friendly place!

We always struggle finding somewhere we can stay with our 3 medium sized dogs (bc of weight, too many, breeds) but our dogs were welcomed with no concerns! There was even a fenced off yard so we could let them out from time to time. We were needing a relaxing weekend getaway from our busy city in Fort Worth, TX and that's what we got and more! Chuck and Klara thought of everything, even treats for the dogs! There's a lot to do on the property without having to leave but are close by many things if you decided to venture out. The place was clean, and comfortable. We are so glad to have found a place to bring our dogs and get away from city life. Being an animal sanctuary was a huge bonus because it was so fun to watch all the animals around us! We can't say enough about how great this place is and we cannot wait to make another trip there.

We found heaven !

We are just home from the most relaxing trip ever . When we got there we met Chuck what a lovely human being and a great cook . Sitting in the hot tub every evening , to hitting the sauna before going pool . The dogs are so friendly , I loved watching the goats chickens ducks geese . Oh fresh eggs every morning . All I can say if you are reading this book it now. We did’nt get to meet Klara but we have booked already for November ! Sorry I can only give 5stars it should be 10 /10 ! If you need a covid free vacation this is the place . No WiFi thank god we just shut out the world for a few day .

Incredible Relaxing Weekend

My wife and I stayed in June 2024 and had a wonderful time. Chuck and Klara are attentive hosts, and the cabin and grounds have tons of amenities that have been well thought out. It is clear that the hosts have attempted to anticipated every need and comfort their guests might want, and have sought to provide it for them. While it was great for a relaxing weekend with each other, we are excited about taking our kids in the future. The pool, playground, animals, trails, and so many other things make it the perfect place to get away with your family. Breakfasts far exceeded any expectation that we could have had. Everything was made from scratch and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend that anybody look for some peace and serenity go to Serenity Acres. It's beautiful, conveniently located close to good restaurants and grocery stores, as well as a quick drive to Robber's Cave and multiple outdoor activities. Again, the hosts are amazing. You will not want for anything during your stay. We had an amazing time.

Just Perfect!

If your not use to being loved on your in for a treat! Sometimes it’s hard for me to receive help. The hosts kindness softened me up a little. I’m raising my nephews and every question and request from the kids were answered with joy and happiness to serve! Our dogs are a source of comfort, so to be able to stay in a place where they had two fenced in areas run around. These guys thought of everything. Even the way the fence opened so the dogs could stay blocked in while I carried in our things. Breakfast was wonderful! To have a homemade meal brought to your front door was incredible. The whole place is so peaceful and we slept very well on the beds. Loved it, can’t wait till we can go back.

A Blessing

We came here to take a break and give my wife a quiet birthday under the stars. Perfect Serenity

Chuck and Klara are amazing. This experience was magical. There were so many wonderful things that I don’t know where to begin and the made to order breakfast was good down to the last bite. The animals were friendly, enhanced the experience, and made it even better. This is by far the best VRBO experience I’ve ever had in my life. There were so many amenities that I feel like I did not even touch the tip of the iceberg. I NEED to go back. You literally have everything at your fingertips. The hosts are two of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met. They play wonderful music that just enhances the experience further. If this place isn’t on your bucket list - it should be. every minute is a delight - you will not run out of things to do. In every instance of every part of this vacation, you will see the hard work and love that the house put into making this experience perfect for you. You will not be disappointed if you visit this place. At a minimum this place will be an annual tradition for me. I hope that sharing this with you let you know just how wonderful of an experience you will have if you go here. Everything is cleverly outlined, thought of, we’re gonna be handled by your amazing and gracious hosts. Note: every animal there is a rescue and has hearts to match the wonderful hosts. Simply amazing!!

Our stay with Chuck and Klara exceeded our expectations. Little Slice of Heaven

One of a kind experience! Location was great and not to mention all the amenities and little things they provide to make the stay beyond enjoyable. Best of all is the breakfast!! They accommodated my food allergies which I’m so thankful for. Such kind and nice people - they make you feel like family. We enjoyed our stay very much and can’t wait to go back!
