We stayed for one night in two of the cabins. It was our first experience staying on a ranch and honestly I don’t think it could have been any better. The cabins were spacious and comfortable, and had everything you’d need. The ranch itself was gorgeous, and a superb location. But what really made it incredible was the people working there. Arizona Casey - what a guy! Singing us songs in the restaurant and by the campfire (with complimentary s’mores and hot chocolate!). Teaching us to shoot in the gun range. A wagon ride up the canyon to see the buffalo. It was just magical and I can’t wait to go back.
I would highly recommend the ranch for the most authentic experience imaginable of life in the Wild West: wood cabins, wagon rides, cowboys training horses and country songs around a fire at night. Casey, the resident cowboy, made it particularly special with his singing, entertaining and general engaging manner. Only thing that could be improved is the food, but was traditional cowboy cuisine.
It is hard to describe how amazing this place is - full of character, cool activities, and steeped in interesting history, and within easy reach of Grand Canyon West rim.
What really made it though was Casey the cowboy - he was friendly, funny and entertaining. He sang songs at dinner and at the camp fire and hosted us on the shooting range, gave great recommendations, and offered a range of other activities as well. We loved his music, voice and humour. It truly wouldn't have been the same without him and we are thankful to have had him there while we visited.
We had the best time there - we went with our family, including a 12, 3 and 1 year old and all of us loved it and were sad to leave - we would go again in a heartbeat. We would highly recommend a visit.
We had the best time here. Had a great dinner and after dinner sat around the campfire with the amazing Casey, what a fantastic artist and very funny too.
The area was very silent and you could see the stars all around you at night.
Casey also took us to the gunrange which was a lot of fun.
I’ve traveled the world, this is the cutest, most hospitable place I’ve ever stayed! Staff was amazing, cabins adorable, and ranch house/ restaurant was so warm and cozy, food was great and kitchen helpers were all wonderful! I’ll travel back to Arizona just to visit and hear Casey Adams singing again! Colton was an amazing ranch hand and made our horseback riding adventure even more memorable!
Thanks staff for making our vacation that much more enjoyable!!
Stayed at the Western ranch for one night but wished it had been longer. It’s a rustic site with open space and the most incredible views. The staff are lovely and accommodating. I highly recommend the sunset ride and camp fire songs. I felt truly relaxed and happy whilst there , thank you!!
Always a great stay! Decent food for decent prices. Casey Adams the country singer is always the star of the night. Campfire, smores, drinks and a singing cowboy! Can never go wrong with this gem.
Staff were amazing. Couldn’t fault the hospitality. Dan a Donny and others were just amazing. Sunset horse ride was an experience not to be missed.
Bath tub unfortunately had too small a plug so water kept going down. That was the only thing I can think of to mention other than quite pricey but wouldn’t have missed it for anything xx

Unexpectedly the best part of our vacation in the south west. Away from all screens and the internet staring at the vast skies around a bon fire enjoying s'mores and songs by cowboy Dave!
Simplicity at it's best! Book yourself a night or two to know how much we actually need to live under a rock :)
