Not Worth It for Creators

I stayed at the Indie Universe Creative Hotel for 10 nights, initially excited about what seemed to be a creative and content-friendly atmosphere. Upon arrival, we were kindly greeted and offered an upgrade for an additional $100, which I accepted, anticipating a productive and enjoyable stay. As ASMR artists, we were drawn to the option of booking a “soundproof room.” However, to my surprise, this was not complimentary and cost an extra $100 for just 3 hours a price I can only assume reflects exaggerated "New York rates." This felt misleading for a hotel that markets itself as a space for creators. Unfortunately, the experience deteriorated rapidly. On our second night, hotel staff mistook my significant other for a stranger, despite her having checked in with me. When I calmly explained she was a registered guest, a staff member had the audacity to respond with a blunt and dismissive “no.” This was deeply disrespectful and almost escalated to a confrontation due to the sheer lack of professionalism. As someone who frequently travels the world and stays in many hotels, this was by far the most offensive encounter I’ve had. We had come here to spark creativity instead, we hit a complete content block throughout our stay, thanks to the environment and poor handling of guest relations. Lastly, if you opt in for the breakfast, be warned: it’s microwaved. Not only disappointing — but downright unpleasant for something you’re paying extra for. Overall: If you're a content

Horrible experience no AC in room, water from the kitchen sink and bathroom started pouring out brown with what looked like clay.. horrible room service they say the cleanjng come at 9am no one comes I have to put my trash outside and go downstairs for towels nd hygeine ...the room has no wifi and no room phone telephone. I have to go downstairs everytime and today the bathroom completely stopped working. Horrible experience would not recommend >> Stay away I come all the way from florida and this is the worst con artist hotel Ive seen in my lyfe.
