The walls are so thin that you can hear everything in the rooms next to and above you. When people would walk above us - we were on ground floor, we could hear everything. There were stains on the wall in the inner bedroom. While the staff was nice and helpful - the room was just not conducive to rest at all.

The ease of getting to downtown Ashland was what made us choose this facility. It also had very good amenities, such as the pool, breakfast, and fit our budget. The beds were very comfortable also.

Rooms are nice size and very clean. It's very quiet and fairly close to town. Beds are good, pillows also good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We'd stay here again. The price was right.

Flagstone Inn of Ashland was everything I needed: reasonable price, comfortable bed, clean room, close to Downtown Ashland. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint was the breakfast. The buffet was not well-stocked, and the coffee machine wasn’t working. Next time, I’ll skip it.

Overall, the stay was “okay” with some definite pros and cons. The employee we dealt with was kind and responsive. The beds were clean and comfortable. And the location was convenient. Unfortunately, I think because we booked through Expedia and maybe had a rate lower than the rack rate we drew the short straw. Shortly after check-in found that our toilet was leaking and continually running. The gentlemen from the front desk was quick to respond, but the only accommodation was to wrap a towel around it. He did note that it was a known issue. This is how it remained through our two night stay, with the toilet running every few minutes and trying to avoid our legs and feet touching the wet towel. The shower drain was not functioning well, so we made sure to time showers so the shower had ample time to drain. As we walked around in socks, we noticed how dirty they were getting. We used a clean sock and wiped the floor and realized how dirty it was. We made sure we wore socks or shoes at all times after this. Our room was located on the ground floor with access through a pathway with a single opening. Our room was the last one and required walking by the other handful of rooms. The guest in the first room had two large dogs and sat outside with them. As we tried to pass, they barked quite a bit. The guest informed us the more we walked by, the more they would get excited and bark. Overall, I would be unlikely to stay again.

We would stay there again

I was unable to make the trip, due to a broken foot. However, my daughter used the reservation and liked the room. She said that the bed was comfortable and the rooms were clean. The staff was helpful.

Showed the manager where the booking said all fees and taxes were included, but still charged $20 a night for a pet, which is already relatively high. Oregon state laws say you have to reveal all fees and amounts so a consumer can compare and make an informed decision, but they didn't. When I was on kayak, there price was $100 a night, when I clicked for pets it went to $110 so I figured that was the pet fee. Nope, got charged another $20 a night, undisclosed. Even showing the manager that it didn't divulge the fee, she wouldn't budge.
