The room was clean and well laid out. The bed was very small and the pillows uncomfortable. Coffee machine was not working . Breakfast was ok, but at $30 ph questionable value . Fine for one night.

Beds are extremely comfortable, staff are very friendly and many offered so much support and advice. Unfortunately one of our pillows had what appeared to be blood stains on the case. The rooms are quite small. We went the bar for happy hour, 5-7 but not on Thursday-Saturday, were told that there would be a huge wait as they were making 18 cocktails for a group of people. Found cheaper drinks along the Yara Riverside. The location is perfect for jumping on a tram or train. We felt very safe in this area. My expectations were quite high for this hotel. The staff were what made this hotel amazing.

Fantastic accommodation, will definitely stay again. Clean bedding, spotless carpet and sparkling bathroom. Love the New York feel. Next time I will take your advice and valet park as unfortunately my car was broken in to on Russell Street carpark. It is what it is, didn’t spoil my holiday and the accommodation was amazing 😊

We arrived to a very lack lustre receptionist - no welcome, we had to ask about our complimentary bottle of wine - were told the red wine isn’t available and they don’t know when it will be again. Never actually received it. Pool is small. Small coffee shop downstairs is nice. Quite far out of the main town. Nothing majorly wrong with it but we wouldn’t stay again and having been to Melbourne before we feel there are better options
