Large 2 storey house with 2 separate living zones (connected internally) , accommodating up to 21 people (16 beds) when using both upstairs and downstairs bedrooms.

This modern property consists of 7 bedrooms (5 upstairs, 2 downstairs) with bay glimpses off large upstairs deck and 2 bedrooms downstairs.

Backyard has a gazebo fun room.

Upstairs:

Large open plan living, dining and kitchen:

- Huge modern leather couch, plenty of seating, huge rear projection TV with surround sound, DVD & video. There are even a couple of bean bags and little leather-look armchairs for the kids
- The dining area adjacent to the kitchen is furnished with a beautiful timber table and 8 chairs
- The large kitchen with its clean lines and modern gloss black finish, is fitted with stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher and even a coffee machine. There is also a great sized breakfast bar/island bench with four stools.
- 5 Bedrooms sleeping up to 14 people. Master Bedroom has full ensuite.

A Satisfactory Stay

Overall, this property was both family and pet-friendly, with spacious communal spaces for big groups. However, the accommodation listing requires correction. The property is advertised with beddding configurations that sleep 21 people, but Bedroom 5 was missing one trundle bed. When I noted this discreapncy upon arrival, I asked the host who were quick to respond but never provided an actual solution. This necessitated my group to bring our own mattress in order to accommodate the advertised number of guests. Importantly, while there is both an upstairs kitchen and a downstairs kitchenette, the appliances were scarce and not user-friendly (e.g. only two cutting boards, very blunt knives, and one baking tray). Importantly, the dishwasher was faulty and would not always start a washing load or complete a satisfactorily clean cycle. In addition, the cleanliness of the property was substandard in both the kitchens and bathrooms (i.e. unflushed toilet). In summary, we would recommend this accommodation with the caveat of being prepared to adapt to mismatched expectations. Aside from these, the location served sufficiently for our church's weekend getaway and we did, overall, enjoy our time in this accommodation. Thank you for having us!

Good for bigger groups

The property was good for what we needed. 10 kids, 11 adults, and a dog. There was lots of space and the second kitchen cane in handy. We had a lovely time. If I’m being honest there were a few things that could have been improved on, like the wobbly balcony rail and all the spider webs, but we still really enjoyed ourselves.

Family Easter trip

We enjoyed our stay at this property with my 80 year old parents,their 3 daughters, husbands and adult grandchilren.Great upstairs entertaining area. 7 bedrooms were comfortable. We loved being so close to Bayview golf course. Only negatives were that the stairs were a little difficult for anyone with mobility issues which we did not take into consideration when we booked but we managed them ok with my elderley parents. The kitchen downstairs does not have any hotplates or an oven and the hooded BBQ pictured in the photos is not there in case that effects anyone's meal planning. It was a great house for everyone to be together in but you could have your own space if needed,

Family girls weekend

Overall we really enjoy our stay, the house had plenty of room and was great, however there were a lot of negative things that we weren’t happy with for the price we paid we expected a little bitter. We thought we would leave a list so they can be reviewed and perhaps we could get some reimbursement or at the minimum it would hopefully be fixed for future visitors. - air conditioner ups stairs didn’t work, had to wait for someone to come and fix it - Next morning power tripped when we used the toaster and we had no power at all - Tv upstairs didn’t work, had to have a tv man come to fix it the day after we arrived - Oven didn’t work - BBQ not useable due to rust on hot plate - No hand towels or tea towels provided but in the instructions it only said we had to supply our own bath towels and linen - Cleanliness wasn’t great, kitchen appliances (kettle ect) greasy and dusty, cobwebs all over inside of windows. - Stated on Stayz there was a trundle bed in one of the double bed rooms however there wasn’t one so we were a bed short. - No cleaning cloths or dish liquid downstairs - Nothing to scrub pots with - Kettle downstairs did not work - Bushes in driveway overgrown and scratched our cars - Double bed upstairs incredibly squeaky, couldn’t even move a cm without waking the other person up - Door knob on one if the bunk rooms upstairs fell off when turned and almost locked someone in the bedroom

Plenty of space

Our group of 21 people stayed here and we had a good time. There was lot of space inside. I was hoping for a yard for the kids to kick a footy, but there isn't really one - there was a small gazebo. There is a BBQ, but 10 minutes into cooking we ran out of gas. Something to maybe check before starting to cook! All in all, a comfortable stay for our big group.

Great family getaway

This house is large and spacious. The kids had a great time playing boardgames and using the table tennis table. Definitely recommended for large group's of families looking to holiday together.
