Great city lodging close to the beach scene

Great hotel with a great staff ftom the top down. Great location in a happening part of town, a very short walk to the beachlfe. Bright, well lit roomy rooms. Restaurant and bar serving delicious meals and snacks. Super comfortable beds. A good value.

The room was smallish but reasonably comfortable. It would have been much better if the storage had been adequate. The 2-sectioned wardrobe had one usable section. The other section had the fridge and beverage items. Access to the car park was rather convoluted and involved navigating stairs. There are plenty of eating options around, and the St Kilda pier was closeby.

From reception, manager Patrick was lovely. He honored our VIP membership with hotels.com and already gave us un upgrade and complimentary parking. Boutique hotel with lovely public bar and fine wine bar right in St Kilda!

Whilst waiting for our room we were treated to a FREE drink from the bar which was a nice touch The room has zero view other than a couple of very large & noisy air conditioners that weee in 24/7 The bed had a dip on both sides where hubby and I kept rolling into the middle

The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The location was convenient. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing — the blinds were broken, the curtains had come off their railings, and the walls were not clean. It was also extremely noisy throughout the night, with people yelling and swearing on the street, making it difficult to sleep.

I loved The Prince Hotel. Conveniently located close to shops, restaurants and public transport. Beds are ridiculously comfortable with quiet rooms. Highly recommend for short stays. Staff are absolutely amazing

The room is nice. Lovely bath but there was a dripping tap in the hand basin and the noise of the plumbing was annoying. There was only one chair weirdly for a room for two. so we had to ask for a second Staff were great.

What a wonderful stay we had. The staff went above all expectations for our stay. We had an issue with our shower and we prompted staff to let them know. Whilst we were out the staff made contact with us and we returned to the reception were we were told they apologised as we needed to change rooms. Here we were both thinking we would need to return to our room to repack our belongings to switch rooms. To our surprise the staff had already reset up our new room and all of belongings were moved and placed in order. Amazing service x
