“Breakfast” was grab and go nutrigrain bars and gross muffins, not exactly what one would consider a breakfast. Didn’t love the people smoking pot in the parking lot either. Lobby is very uninviting. But the room was clean and comfortable.

Our stay at this hotel has been the worst. This was a last minute trip to visit our son and family. We were faced with the Ryder Cup shortage of hotels and of course triple room rates. Our room had flying bugs either gnats or fleas in our room. I collected at least 10 or more whenever we were in the room which was only to sleep at night. They kept coming in. I collected some dead in a bag. The TV control volume was broken. No hair dryer. No cleaning of room even when I asked the second day. No clean towels when required. Dirty bathtub For $637 a night this unacceptable and believable we should get some compensation for the stay.

Beware of this Extended Stay Suites, Melville, NY. Don’t give reviews often on Google, but this place royally sucked, checked out a day early. Absolute garbage. 1. Floors were sticky, previous spills and not cleaned? Who knows? 2. Ventilation fan in bathroom was very loud and rattling 3. Staff did not clean rooms 4. Staff did not give new sheets, or make beds 5. Staff did not give new bathing towels - you must request towels and swap yours out 6. The shower/tub backed up several times No positives. And to charge $1k or more because of the Ryder Cup, is a crime, let alone $100-$200 per your normal rate. This is a $50/night dive at best, if your car broke down outside the hotel - MAYBE. Please - avoid!! This place is a dumpster fire. **To the establishment, please, don’t post a CRAPOLA generic response about contacting me or apologizing. Anyone would be better off staying in a tent outside than staying at this place. Checked out a day early. Do better or shut down. I’d give you guys 0 stars or negative stars if it were possible**

Cheap, cheap cheap. Cheap towels, cheap paper products and zero amenities. The structure of the building must have used the cheapest construction materials available as we could hear people snoring from two different rooms. No shampoo, no hairdryer, etc. you get the picture

The premises were ok. Seems like the hotel is housing homeless people. Ample parking. Air conditioner was great. Short drive to many eateries and restaurants. Utensils and pots have to be requested. I definitely won’t go back.

Our room was quiet, hallways were quiet. This was a pet friendly property and we did not hear any dogs barking, we brought our own dog as well. Negatives were that we arrived at about 10 PM to check in and I called the phone for front desk check-in and the phone was not answered after I called two or three times. No one was behind the desk and it took 10 minutes for someone to arrive. The security doors that need a key to enter from the outside were never locked and there were people hanging out by their cars in the parking lot looking like they were having some alcohol. When we arrived in our room, the bathroom sink was 6 inches full of cloudy water due to a clog. No one was in the property on a weekend to fix it. They did offer us another room, but by that time we had already unpacked everything and did not want to move. When I spilled some water on the floor and used a washcloth to wipe it up, the cloth was filthy dirty. Refrigerator was banged up. Nothing about the room looked at all like pictures on the website. Carpeting in the hallway was old and stained. Definitely a two star hotel.

Bad hotel stay!

When we arrived they said my card I paid with on Hotels.com had been declined - they said I had to [ay again to stay - I did not have tie to check with you, you have no number to call and my son and I had to get into the room so, I had no choice - why would I have to pay twice for the room when I had a receipt showing I paid? It was the worst arrival ever and I may not use this service again as a result - I think something fraudulent was going on at that Extended Stay - you need to check into that ASAP!
