Lovely hotel in a nice neighborhood. Comfy bed and shower was ok, sometimes the water pressure went up and down presumably due to other rooms usage. Room was a bit dated but comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful with scrambled eggs and bacon as well as the usual continental style and plenty of sweet pastries and fruit bowls too. Breakfast coffee was a let down, not great. You can book the hot tub, steam room and sauna for private use which is recommended. We booked a full body massage also through reception which you pay them in cash (Argentinan Pesos). They brought in an outside masseue, Esteban who was amazing and highly recommended after a lot of treking Patagonia! Check out a couple of great steak houses on the next street. La Lucia for something a bit fancier and HUGE steaks and Estancia la Florencia just up the street more informal but just as good and cheaper.

I had a very pleasant stay at Villaggio Boutique Hotel. My room was large with a comfortable sitting area and a very comfy king bed. Despite being centrally located, it was wonderfully quiet. The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance to some of the best restaurants and pastry shops in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the complimentary breakfast offered a good selection. Room amenities were very nice, and the minibar with fridge was a convenient touch. A couple of things to note: the hotel does not serve lunch or dinner, and there is no lounge on the premises—though plenty of great options are just a short walk away. My only real complaint: upon my arrival in Mendoza, I asked the hotel to arrange airport transportation. While someone was there to pick me up, I was charged triple the average Uber rate. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! This was extremely disappointing and not in line with the otherwise positive experience at the hotel.

This boutique hotel delivers more than a boutique experience. It was our base of operations for five days in Mendoza as we explored a number of wineries in the region and it was a wonderful place to come home to each day. Clean. Comfortable. Well appointed (sauna and a pool…the hot tub was closed for the off season). Great neighborhood (steps away from restaurants, cafes, shopping, a number of gorgeous plazas…wow. Parking (self-park offsite just a half-block away). A great little breakfast restaurant (included) to start every day. And most importantly, GREAT people and service. Emilia, Augustine, Daniel and Marco went out of their way making us feel special, whether it was facilitating our stay and visit, exchanging currency, getting my husband hot water for coffee at 5 AM or doing a quick fix when I accidentally locked us out of our room’s safe, they were with us every step of the way and ready with a quick greeting or longer, warm conversation. You simply can’t ask for more. Thank you Villaggio. We will be back.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The only thing we had an issue with was the shower. It would change from scolding hot to freezing cold. It was almost impossible to take a shower. Everything else here was perfect.
