Lazy Bear Cabin will be the place you'll want to come back to again & again with your family & friends! Lots of open space to spread out & enjoy your stay in the mountains. Comfortably sleeps 9 with tons of games, outdoor amenities & just 3.5 miles to downtown Mentone! Downstairs offers a large open living room with wood burning fireplace, fully stocked kitchen with island as well as a dining area. Also downstairs, you’ll find two king bedrooms and two full baths. Upstairs, off the loft, is a Queen bedroom. The loft area is where all the fun is with foosball, ping pong, air hockey, jumbo games, + a full size bed with twin trundle. But it doesn’t stop there…outside you’ll fall in love with the wooded landscape surrounding Lazy Bear Cabin! Brand new hot tub to soak after a full day of hiking near by DeSoto State Park, Little River Canyon National Preserve or Couldland Canyon State Park! A charcoal grill to throw some burgers or steaks for dinner and a firepit for a s’mores dessert. Lots of porches to enjoy your meal outdoors, sip your favorite drink while listening to the sounds of nature and maybe catch a glimpse of our local deer and turkey!

Guests will be required to complete a rental agreement, provide a valid photo ID, and submit a refundable damage deposit hold. This property welcomes up to 2 dogs with prior approval and applicable pet fee.

We had a wonderful stay this past weekend for our family with young kids - we hiked, played and enjoyed Mentone. Lazy Bear had everything we needed and was a great landing spot. Kids loved the air hockey and foosball especially, the cozy upstairs bedroom, and the hot tub and woods around us. Adults loved the outside areas, kitchen, bedroom layout, and setup in general. We had everything we needed and more. Great place to have fun and relax!

We had a lovely stay with family at this awesome cabin! Lots of space to spread out and enjoy with our group. Very close to DeSoto Falls and Mentone, which we enjoyed visiting! We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Stay

The cabin was perfect for 5 adults. It was clean and well appointed, with a few very nice extras, like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, nice linens and a variety of KCups. The property was in a good location, close to a couple restaurants but still secluded and quiet.

Family Getaway

Wow, what a great camp. Plenty of room and lots of outside seating. Very clean and some extra surprises of things that were complimentary like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, extra k-cups and creamer. The decor was excellent and the game area upstairs was so much fun. Thanks again for taking the extra effort to really make this trip special. p.s. All our guests commented on how nice the cabin was and how CLEAN. Also liked how close it was to the town and the adorable shops.

Wonderful Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin! We loved it so much, we called to book an additional night. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, and the beds were really comfortable! Mentone is a sweet town! Quiet and relaxing!! We plan to be back for another visit!

Wonderful cabin for a family weekend

We loved the cabin, the property, the hot tub and especially the fire pit. The loft with all the games was great! Lots of amenities so we didn't really need to bring any extras for just a weekend.

Beautiful Getaway

This is a perfect family getaway. Great place to take your family and enjoy nature. The hot tub was a bonus, the kids thoroughly enjoyed the game room, and plenty of room outside to make a fire or eat outdoors. We hope to come again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lazy Bear Cabin. My grandson loved playing all the games and enjoyed the hot tub. It was a nice quiet peaceful area and we rested well. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of seating. We enjoyed seeing all the deer walk through the woods beside the cabin.
