Musty smell

Strong musty smell in the room, I think it needs ventilation because it is very clean, but it smells musty. We reported burned-out light bulbs in the vanity, but they weren't replaced. And the shower doesn't run properly.

We enjoyed our stay. We have been to the Holly Hotel efore & knew it was a good motel and matched our budget. The little breakfast cafe was excellent with diverse foods. The pool is very maintained. It is at a great location to the Paseo & bus lines

The property is close to the Montejo with stores restaurants and shops. The facility is very clean and well kept. The staff were great willing to help and friendly The only negative was the lack of hot water, at times the hot water tap had no running water and if it did the water was lukewarm to cool

The hotel was very clean. I liked its traditional Mexican atmosphere and we were so close to shopping and wonderful restaurants the ad on Expedia mentioned a pool but there was no pool there. We are not pool people so it didn’t affect us

The staff was making many wonderful improvements to the exterior while we were there. Nothing intrusive. We hope they can address small thing like ceiling cracks and chipping paint in the guest rooms. Great value.

For the price it was great. Excellent location and very walkable. Only issues is we had were no hot water the two days we stayed. And the fridge didn’t work either. The door didn’t have a deadbolt either. Our friends who stayed in a different location in the hotel did have hot water
