Little did we know that this property hosts day escursions from cruse ships that transforms their peacfuly pools just outside your room into a spring break like pool party with obnoxious partiers and even a DJ blasting music all day. Combine that with full size diesel tour busses and taxi vans jaming up the parking area, and it's a horrible experience. Also had to go tell manamement about druken noisy partiers at the pool after the pool was closed. They acted like they had no idea although you could hear the yelling and screaming througout the entier property, including the open are reception office. You've been warned. Also, just FYI-- the suites with kitchens are not equipped with ANYTHING. They bring you two little water bottles with room service and that's it. No coffee make, no hair dryer, and no AC is the living area... only the bedroom. I would NEVER return to this place.

Beautiful tropical paradise, beach is white sand with turquoise water. Remote, hidden hotel, with a small restaurant, and it is surrounded by palm trees. You definitely need a car to get there because it is about 1hr 15 mins from Merida. Hotel is clean and staff very friendly.

This property was on the Gulf and is ideal for families. The pool is very attractive and appears well kept. The hotel allowed me to arrive two hours early, without charge, which was appreciated. My room was very large, with high ceilings, and a kitchen area, with large fridge and microwave. The beach area could have been better if the sand was raked for debris washing ashore.

Absolutely gorgeous private beach, on weekdays it was very quiet early mornings and afternoons after 4pm. It was not touristy and approximately 20 minute drive to Progreso for dining, if you prefer a variety of restaurants.

El hotel es promedio y las instalaciones se ven un poco viejas. En la habitación asignada, el refrigerador era muy antiguo y hacía un ruido insoportable. Encontré varios detalles de limpieza que deberían mejorar: las llaves del agua estaban llenas de sarro, y había polvo y suciedad acumulada en los rincones y zócalos, además de algunas manchas visibles. El staff de recepción fue bastante hostil. Intenté comunicarme con ellos desde mi habitación, pero nadie respondió. Llevaba mis propias toallas debido a un problema de dermatitis, pero se las llevaron y tuve que usar las del hotel porque nadie se responsabilizó. Al ir a preguntar por ellas a recepción, ni siquiera recibí una disculpa, y cuando finalmente me las devolvieron, estaban todas húmedas. Por otro lado, los chicos del comedor fueron más serviciales, pero el menú era muy limitado, sin opciones veganas ni una ensalada adecuada.

Likes: its our second time there and such good staff service. The kiddies pool is wonderful. The beach is beautiful. The room is spacious and homely. Dislikes: No sort of extra at least 2 knives, forks, spoons to eat the food we take. We have kids and we got a room in the 2nd floor, but the room varandah viewing the pool wasnt safe as the fence wooden boards were broken. My kids couldn't enjoy that. It would be nice to have the restaurant menu already in the room and probably a couple more menu selection items. The menu significantly changed from our first visit and offers less.

Was on the ground floor in the pool was right behind it. Our patio had its own iguana and iguanas all around the area. Right behind the pool is a beautiful ocean. Didn’t eat at the restaurant until the next day, but the food was great and even breakfast was really good food I had in Mexico getting something at the Cenotes

A dream of a small paradise beach hotel. Quiet and very tropical. It is a long drive from Merida, but absolutely worth the drive.
