Merrimont Downs is 100 acres of private land to explore with ambient accommodation for couples or small families.

It is a very private and thoughtfully set apartment with open plan living, cooking facilities and the most magnificent deck to enjoy stunning views to Mt Buller across the Delatite Valley.

Two (2) bedrooms each with spacious ensuites and stunning views. One bed can split to 2 singles (if required) and a cosy wood fire sets the scene in Winter and the owners offer a pre-ordered breakfast basket.

Take a garden walk or go bush hiking, do a spot of fly fishing or discover the bike trails. You are so close to Mt Buller Gates making this location ideal for a snow holiday or just escape and relax in summer amidst the magnificent High Country.

If you wish to order a breakfast basket - just mention this before you arrive.

Absolutely beautiful location

The cottage is superb. Really comfortable and had everything we needed. The views are incredible from the bedrooms, living space, and huge deck. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay on their farm. The kids loved seeing the kangaroos and farm animals.

Merrijig Magic

The property is in an excellent location looking down the valley with Table Top and Buller on the horizon. A short drive to Merrijig and about 15k to Mansfield. Easy trips to Buller and Sterling. Rooms are well laid out at opposite ends of the house. Meet in the middle for meals, FTA TV and board games. No free WiFi but it wasn't a problem.

Beautiful property, close to Buller

The property is immaculate - beautifully kept gardens and a tree-lined road lead directly to the accommodation, which is spacious and has a beautiful view of the snowcapped ranges beyond Merrijig. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming - and even stopped in to set the fire before we arrived home from the mountain. We had a great time and will probably be back soon!
