The hotel is in a converted old classic building, so it is no surprise that sound insulation is no great. I could hear the unfiltered poppy barking from the neighboring building. The hotel door was managed by an old gentleman, he could a bit more friendlier or welcoming. There was pouring rain while I was departing the hotel, he didn’t even offer to use an umbrella to shelter the rain while I was walking out to the Uber in the front.

This was my second time at Casa Decu and it was great just like the first time. The area is so nice and walkable to different restaurants and cafes. It’s also close to public transportation. I love Mexico City and will definitely return. Thank you!

Great naborhood.

Food good, continental breakfast great. The staff were amazing, friendly and very hospitable. For transportation I took a Uber everywhere. Do not take taxis they will rip you off, only Uber. For bed comfort I give only 3 stars, mattress very bumpy and uncomfortable. Otherwise I give a 5 star reveiw.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Decu! The hotel is full of charm and character, blending art deco design with modern comforts in the heart of Condesa. Our room was beautifully designed—bright, spacious, and thoughtfully appointed. The rooftop terrace was a true highlight, offering a peaceful spot to enjoy breakfast or unwind after a day of exploring. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready with a smile and great local recommendations. This was such an excellent hotel to stay in! The building has a very cozy design and decoration. The location is PERFECT, and everything in the neighborhood is so green and beautiful. Lots of great places to eat within blocks of the hotel, and a cute park with so much shade and benches to relax in. The breakfast on the rooftop is so magical with delicious free continental breakfast, or a full menu of breakfast food to order. It *is* a walk up! So be aware if you don’t like stairs.
The lovely door that has a doorman that keeps the door locked unless you ring the doorbell.
Super comfortable beds!

Lovely neighborhood, building is beautiful, very helpful staff. Suite was the perfect size! Just a note for those who are probably looking for a little more - no elevator, no central air (portable fan provided), linens were a little worn/thin, some mold in the shower tiles but otherwise very clean - just could use some updating!

A Hidden Gem in Condesa …Don’t Let the Reviews Scare You Off I was nervous about booking Casa Decu after reading some of the Google reviews. enroute the hotel, I even considered canceling. But I’m so glad I didn’t. When I arrived, Carlos at the entrance was incredibly kind and welcoming. I told him how I felt about the place based on what I’d read online, and he simply said, “Why don’t you check out the room first, then decide?” I went up to my room , and from the moment I stepped inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spotless, spacious, and had a lovely condo-style setup — complete with a small sink and table. The lighting set a relaxed mood, the bed was the perfect size for a solo traveler, and I even had a beautiful view of the courtyard with a lush green plant wall. It felt serene and private. The bathroom was a good size, equipped with all the essentials, and most importantly it was clean and fresh-smelling. The whole hotel actually smells amazing — like a place you want to come back to after a day of exploring. Casa Decu is a stunning, well-kept boutique hotel in a great Condesa location. As a bonus, they even offer a complimentary bottle of wine, which is a lovely touch for those who enjoy a glass. I didn’t experience any of the issues I had read about
