Very good

My room was the most disgusting room I have ever seen.
One pillow was stained with a horrible dark spot.
Carpet was dirty, there was a kid’s blanket and stuffed animal that for me was a sign that someone lives there when room is not booked.
The room they gave us had a broken window, which they knew so at night it was extremely cold you could hear the traffic all night. Is was very disappointing. It was a nice place.
Out of date but ok. Just an old house turned into restaurant with the former bedrooms above. Bedclothes very worn but clean. Location is very good if Coyoacan is where you want to be and near metro.

There was some confusion upon arrival - the booking address was a restaurant, but the room was 2 blocks away; the room I was initially given did not have a private bath as per booking and they wanted cash despite the fact that the listing and booking said that visa was accepted. The staff were friendly but spoke only Spanish which made resolving matters problematic. The shower was either hot or cold but not capable of adjusting in between. That said, I liked the staff, building and location.
Nice quiet hotel in a good, very safe neighborhood
I love the location. You can walk to many restaurants nearby. You feel like to live in your home. I definitely would go back if i visit Mexico City again.
The hotels is basically local houses converted to rooms. Area is great, safe, clean and full of restaurants and small museums. Has access to local transportation y shopping centers as well as handcraft market.
Higly recommended
Terrible experience. Locked into the place, no staff. Did not have any wifi the first date. No lunch or breakfast like stated. Accommodations were not as described. Did not have my own private bathroom. Bathroom there was disgusting, everything rusted, no toiletries at all. Place is a restaurant and there are 4 empty bedrooms up top. Confusing. Definitely do not recommend. I wouldn't even call that a hostel.

Lost in Translation
We had 4 people from Texas staying over in Coyocan before we left for Acaulpoco. Th overall experience was good. It's located in the lovely Coyocan neighborhood that is quiet and beautiful (lots of artists and hipsters living in the area) We had problems translating that we had booked on Hotel's.com and the owner thought we were pulling a fast one. We got a translator and resolved the issue. We visiting the Frida museum and it was spectacular as well as visited the downtown area and enjoyed the local food. This is a hostel so don't be fooled. You will have a private room, but you will have a shared bathroom, kitchen, and living space. Overall very nice affordable option in Coyocan.
