Loved this place, the location and proximity close to Michigan city downtown and New Buffalo was great! What was cool is the isolation in the woods and the minimal capacity. Our Only take away is the strong odor of well water for the shower and bath Faucets. Other than that good service, good food and location.

There is a bar/restaurant on site: it was decent, (very nice atmosphere) but we did not try the food, just a few drinks. The breakfast is coffee, packaged muffins, fruit or packaged oatmeal. It was not available on Sunday morning when we left. Very clean but could use a facelift on some of the fixtures (rusty shower curtain rod). Staff was very friendly.

Great little place to stay. Room was very large and clean. Great setting. Would have like to explore the property and trails but we had a heavy snow which obviously made for post card pictures.
