Arrived Sunday afternoon, room very cold so turned up radiator and went out. Returning that evening, room very hot, could not turn down radiator. Reported to "morning manager" who said it would be sorted. Not sorted, radiator control broken had to move room, when returned late evening. Key card kept failing, numerous replacements needed. Mixed "Grill" obviously microwaved. Bar person trying to sort out tv in bar using much foul language during process. A very outdated and tired Hungry Horse style menu, needs to be revised as per other GK pubs.

Great hotel, beds really comfy and staff very polite and helpful. Only downside was the room’s ceiling wallpaper was peeling off and just needs sprucing up but wouldn’t put me off going again

It’s ok.

You have to bear in mind it’s a Hungry Horse pub. Cheap and cheerful. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The food was ok and breakfast was served from 7am.
