Cozy cabin, great for family and friends!
Enjoy quiet nights at this little cabin. After venturing down the drive way you will find yourselves secluded in Jones Mountain. This cabin has a lot to offer for a group of friends or a family! Lots of things to do in in the surrounding areas.
-R.B.Winter State Park is within 8 miles of the cabin. -Penn State Fan ? The university is 1 hour west. -World class trophy trout fishing is just minutes away. (Penns Creek-Weikert)
The cabin has 2 private bed rooms . 1 is equipped with a queen size bed and the other a full bed. The upstairs has an open floor plan with mattresses on the floor. Single and Full size. There is one bathroom down stairs, with a sink, toilet and a stand-up shower. The kitchen has all the basic essentials, or keep it easy and enjoy mountain pies over the fire. Enjoy the gas powered fireplace in the evenings or spend it fire side listening to rapid run.
-We do recommend that your vehicles are AWD or 4WD for clearance. Smaller cars could bottom out. -Due to the length and condition of driveway, in the case of snow or ice a last minuet cancelation from the owner may happen. -Bath towels and kitchen towels are provided. BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING!! There are pillows if you want to just bring pillow cases. - This is a CABIN in the middle of the MOUNTAINS. If you can't handle dirt, bugs or cobwebs please find a hotel somewhere.
The cabin was cozy and secluded - a great way to spend our anniversary! The weather wasn't great, but we were only 15 minutes from our favorite antique mall, and we spent the time at the cabin watching old movies on VCR, reading, and just relaxing on the porch. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the necessities we needed.
Property is a gem in the woods. Accurate online listing for the driveway and house. We were not able to use the cabin to its potential due to a family wedding that kept us busy. House has all the amenities you need for a great time in the woods. Very quiet and peaceful. Thank you
This place was as close to an âoff the gridâ feeling as you can get while still being close to home. The cabin was clean. The host was friendly and responsive. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a relaxing camping trip.
Very enjoyable and relaxing, Driveway wasn't as bad as some indicated, but still recommend four wheel drive vehicle. Enjoyed sitting by the campfire listening to the sounds of the nearby creek.
This cabin was so perfect for our trip, that I almost don't want to leave a review! We were able to access the forest and state parks easily from this location, and get to town in 15-20 minutes. The space was comfortable and we loved the outdoor firepit. If anything, I'd second the host's message about this being a mountain cabin and to get a hotel if you can't stand the occasional bug or critter. We'd love to stay here again!
After a white knuckle drive down the side of a mountain, we arrived at the cute cabin complete with it's own spring. Inside is basic but has everything you need (a few more dining table chairs would help). Outside is a porch swing, bonfire area, and plenty of forest to hike. Driveway is steep, windy, and not maintained, even in a 4wd I would not attempt it in heavy rain, snow, or fog.
The cabin was really lovely. The property is secluded and peaceful, yet close to town. Our children (11 and 4) and Shiba Inu really loved their stay.
The cabin was stocked with plenty of amenities. There is a walking trail on the property that leads to a creek. Lots of state parks and things to do nearby.
The host was very responsive and kind. Would love to stay again.
Quiet cabin in the woods. The property is located about 15min from Lewisburg and less than 10min north of Mifflinburg. You're close to amenities should you need them. We love the quiet. Property manager is super responsive.
The cabin was just what we were looking for. It was warm and cozy and had all the comforts of home.
The beds were a little hard, but have no complaints. Very relaxing.
I would visit again. đ
Loved the private setting, accessible by Jeep. everything thing we needed and more. Really appreciated that it is pet friendly, our little Zoey couldn't get enough of the woods!
Will definitely book again.
Loved the location and surroundings. It was so cozy. Disappointed we had rain but loved that we were able to sit on the swing and enjoy the sounds and smells of the rain.
We enjoyed the cozy cabin nestled in the beautiful woods of the Appalachian Mountains. It is a private, relaxing getaway that will transport you to easy days & peaceful nights.
We stayed here for a long weeks to attend my niecesâs graduation from Bucknell. Cute little cabin tucked away in the woods. If youâre looking for peace and quiet, nothing fancy, this is your place! Be sure to visit Lewisburg, itâs a cute town with local little shops thatâs about a 20 minute drive.
This cabin was in an ideal location for a getaway. My family had an excellent time and reconnected overboard games and fire pits. It includes everything you need and more.
Thank you my family has a wanderful time at your beautiful cabin!

Awesome location! Great property!
We loved this cabin and the time we spent exploring the area. The cabin is perfect for a small family. It was well stocked with everything we need. Only complaint is it could use some deep cleaning and organization.
We had a great time at the cabin. Everything was as described and it was the best of both worlds- a beautifully remote location with hot running water, electricity, and wifi (key for the kids).
It felt like home away from home and my family enjoyed it so much we didn't want to leave. So relaxing to sit by the fire and spend time with my family. We visited the the R.B. Winter state park right down the road to go swimming, use the picnic area, and playground for our kids. We would definitely come up and visit again.
We celebrated our 22 year anniversary at cabin and loved it. So quiet and private. Forest house bar is right down the road and was a fun place with lots of friendly people. Lots of hiking trails in the area too. Can't wait to go back!
We enjoyed the seclusion of this cabin. We went on many hikes in the surronding mountains and glad to just enjoy some peace and quiet. The host is very easy to deal with. Would definetly book this place again
