This was our second time at this property. The location is beautiful and close to Baxter State Park. This time we took our dog with us and she had a great time.

Felt somewhat enclosed. Yes the cabin is situated in a beautiful spot. The lake setting is great. The full screen for the slider to the decaying deck was totally missing. The window screen to the left of the slider had holes so that could not be opened and the window to the right of the slider could barely be seen through. Had to run the air all the time because of the missing screen door and screen holes. The ceiling fan over the sofa was caked with a years worth of dust. The top of tthe fridge was filthy and we were asked to remove our shoes so as not to track in pine pitch.Thank god for Baxter State Park.A cabin on the lake is never expected to be perfect. We have stayed in 1940 built fishing cabins that were more accomadating. For the price paid we did expect something more and better.Unfortunately this was nit worth the expense.

I have to say this is the first time I have to give a not so great review. The cottage was not quite what we expected from the photos. The place had not been cleaned(stuff happens). The girl that cleans came while we were there which was ok,but not convenient. She did a nice job but the outside of the property was really let go.Junk laying around under the camp, old chairs, old junk. This place e was not cleaned up on the outside.Mildewed deck and railings, cobwebs around windows and doors. For the price we paid,it was not what was expected.
