Je suis encore outrée d’avoir payé si cher pour cet hotel. Rien ne justifie le prix! Il y a un odeur desagreable dans les couloir et l’aire centrale(piscine). Au dejeuner, le choix est restreint. Donc on prend des céréales, il n’y a aucune cuillère, personne à l’acceuil à cette heure… je comprend le 2 etoiles mais je ne comprend vraiment pas comment ils peuvent charger ce prix! À eviter absoluement!

Laurie,We strive to ensure that our rates remain competitive, and the amenities provided are valuable to our guests. I know with the exchange rate this is sometimes difficult to accomplish. We do have staff available on property 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to assist and would have made things right for you had they had the chance. We recently took over management of the property and have been gradually making improvements each day. I can assure you that the items of concern in your review have already been resolved. We appreciate your feedback and value all guest input when making upgrades and improvements to the property. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, please contact me directly so I can assist you. Hopefully you will give us a chance next time you are in Millinocket to show you the improvements.

Stay was fine; They should close the swimming pool with a plastic pool cover when the pool is not in use; The moisture escaping is making the place stink with a mild foul odor;

We are pleased to hear your recent three night stay with us went was a 10 out of 10. Since taking over Management of the property we have been investigating several potential odor sources. Our initial thought was the humidity from the pool and the prior owner not using the exhaust fan properly in the summer months. We have identified three areas of concern and have already started the process of correcting them. Yes, covering the pool with the large solar blanket will reduce moisture and keep the Heat in the pool, something we regularly do at properties, the challenge is once it is rolled up for daytime use the trapped water has been a portion of the odor concern. Again, thank you for the constructive feedback. As we continue with improvements we will definitely be covering the pool and new hot tub more often. We hope to see you on your next trip to Millinocket. Until then, safe travels!
