Newly renovated cottage that sits directly on the Delaware River. The cottage is surrounded by thousands of acres of State land . Incredible views of the River and the Bald eagles that frequent the property. You will feel that you stepped back in time on a property that is truly unique .
You will cross over the Pond Eddy bridge entering PA. You will follow the road along the River noticing just a few houses that that lead you to the cottage.
The cottage sits behind a beautiful barn with its own private parking lot . You will be surrounded by Estate trees as you walk down the stone pathway while looking directly at the River.
The cottage has a large screened in porch that over looks the river. It is furnished with comfy oversized chairs a couch and a dining table for two.
It’s a great spot for morning coffee or a romantic dinner with a glass of wine or just curl up on the couch and read a book or take a nap while listening to the relaxing sounds of the river. It’s also a great spot in the summer to watch all the rafters floating by.
The living area inside has a dining table- and a well appointed living room with an Alexa music system and Flat screen tv with a full movie package . There is a wood burning stove for those chilly nights .
The kitchen is set up with all the comforts of home so you can pack light and walk in and start enjoying your getaway. There is a full size washer and dryer for yourConvenience as well.
The bedroom has a very comfortable King size bed adorned with luxury bedding for the ultimate nights sleep. There is also a flat screen tv to watch your favorite movie from bed. If you leave the inner porch door open- you can lay in bed and look right out at the River.
It’s very beautiful and relaxing. The bathroom is spa like complete with a soaker tub and high end towels .
The cabin has A/C and heat . There is a propane grill and fire pit outside for your enjoyment as well.
There is a nice dvd collection and board games .
You can hike- kayak- raft -fish and bike right off the property. There is also a place 1 1/2 miles from the cottage where you can rent all you need to float down the river and they provide a ride back up the river at the end.
Some of the best fishing on the Delaware is right out your front door . There are stairs that will lead you down to the river where you will find a very private beach area to enjoy the River.
There are several beautiful smalls towns to explore near by with great dining options -antiquing and shopping. This is our second vacation rental. We also offer The Delaware River Cabin which is about 3 Acres away. I am a premier host and Love what I do!
The cottage is a great place to Rest-Relax and recharge.
