Beautiful Family Vacation Home. The Peninsula - Exclusive 5 Star Gated Community

Come enjoy this gorgeous, coastal style, fully furnished home with 6 bedrooms (Sleeps 12) and 6.5 baths located in the Sanctuary section of the community. The home has an elevator which is great for guests with mobility issues. There is everything that you need for a great stay making it the perfect getaway for multi-generational families or groups of close friends. The Peninsula is a private, resort-style, gated, waterfront community offering world-class amenities including an indoor golf simulator, a driving range, a full-service spa, indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs, an outdoor wave pool, a 9 hole miniature golf course, a professionally designed tennis (4 Premier & 2 Har-Tru courts) & pickle ball venue (6 courts), lighted basketball courts, fitness center, large kids game room, nature/walking trails, 30,000 sq. ft. clubhouse, private bay beach, fishing pier, nature center and more! Guests will have access to the world-renowned private Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course (extra fee applies). There are also water sports on the bay through paddleboard and kayak rentals. Please note - to access the Peninsula amenities, renters will need to purchase guest passes directly through the Peninsula at the desk at the Athletic Club at an additional fee.

The Peninsula is located on the Indian River Bay and is a short drive from Rehoboth, Lewes, Dewey Beach, shopping including the Tanger factory outlets and an array of fine dining options. On-site dining is available at the clubhouse. There is also access to the outdoor full service bar, and 2 additional outdoor dining options at the pool.

For our property, The Peninsula rules allow for a maximum of 12 (twelve guests) and 4 (four) cars to be checked in at the gatehouse! We will provide linen/sheets/bath towels but please bring your own beach towels. Strict no smoking policy. No smoking, vaping or use of Hookah. THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE! IT IS GEARED FOR MULTI-GENERATIONAL FAMILIES & GROUPS OF CLOSE FRIENDS. This property does not accept pets due to allergy and HOA restrictions.

IMPORTANT The Peninsula requires submission of the Gatehouse Registration 10 days prior to rental start. DO NOT book the house if the registration window has passed as we will have to cancel - Apologies for any inconvenience. All guests must be listed for registration. No changes to list can be made after it is submitted to the Gatehouse.

NOTE: Bookings between Memorial and Labor Day require a Saturday changeover with 7, 14, or 21 nights stay (HOA and Club requirement). In the off-season there is a 3 day minimum.

*Athletic CLUB & POOL AMENITY COSTS - 2024 pricing - please inquire for up-to-date pricing: NOTE - Guests are not permitted to use facility before 10:00 a.m and on Saturdays between May 27th and September 5th:
Weekly Pass - $110/ Adult & $55/ age 6-15.
Weekday Pass- $30 Adults & $15/ age 6-15.
These fees exclude golf fees. Tennis and pickleball courts must be reserved prior to use with a $10 charge for in season and $5 for off season. This will allow 90 to 120 minutes of court time. Max 2 reservations per day.

Five stars is not enough. Perfect is what our experiences have been at this large home and incredible Community Center. Our recent stay was our third year in a row and I've already booked next year. What takes this property from Excellent to Perfect is outer host, Mary Beth. Mary Beth has been most accommodating and with lightning quick responses to our many questions over the years.

Wonderful Vacation!!

We had an awesome time. The house was neat, clean, quiet and in great shape. Definitely more than enough room for the 10 of us. The kids had a great time at the swimming pool area which contained a wave pool and a pool with an obstacle course. Mary Beth was wonderful. She was very responsive and helpful with regard to the home as well as The Peninsula.

A wonderful property in a great community

The home is large, clean, well appointed and perfect for a large family that loves to cook and bake. The Peninsula community has something for everyone. The golf course, the three pools, the fitness center, two small sandy beaches (perfect for young grandchildren) and fishing from the pier. The only thing better than all this is the Host. Mary Beth is fantastic! This was our second year and we've already booked next year's summer gathering.

Family Vacation

Our family had the most amazing time at this home! With plenty of room for all 11 of us to have our own space. A magical open floor plan gave us the opportunity to spend quality time together and play lots of games. We love the Peninsula!

Even nicer than expected

The house was spectacular. Places to gather and places to have quiet. Well stocked, convenient and beautifully furnished. Appreciated the elevator and the very comfortable beds. A wonderful retreat

Our host Mary Beth was phenomenal. The house is spacious, clean and we'll stocked. The location is ideal, with easy walking access to the community center and the little beach. The children thoroughly enjoyed the pools, the mini golf and the children's play area. All in all, a wonderful vacation!

Fabulous resort type community

We booked this house for a family reunion and to celebrate a 90 th birthday . The house is huge w ample room to spread out over 3 floors. As one would expect from a luxury offering all creature comforts were there to enjoy. Multiple outdoor spaces , screened and open were a welcome addition . The community has everything a family could possibly ask for as described on the website . A third pool had just opened .....it was amazing , the largest pool we've ever seen w an obstacle course , water volleyball and basketball ( soooo much fun ) Would rebook this home in a second !!!

Quality and Convenience

This brand new home is well appointed, on a quiet circle. near the water, and made for a comfortable stay. Within walking distance to the sandy shore for kayaking and fishing and community center for the clubhouse, pools, and fitness center was incredibly convenient. Two sets of washers and dryers, large kitchen and bedroom layout was perfect for two (or more) families with kids. The owner was responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be visiting again.
