Quick one-night stay

Quaint hotel in the center of town. The room definitely played into the history of the town, sticking to the exposed timbers and cozy feel. The bathroom however looked BRAND new, which was appreciated.

Hotel Schmuckkastchen is in a perfect location in Miltenburg. It is in a 15c half timbered building, directly beneath the schloss with an accessible hiking trail. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would go back. Our main concern is that the hotel expects check-in no later than 6pm.which was a problem for our itinerary and we had to race like mad to arrive by 6:05pm as it takes time to find the hotel in the town if you miss the turn onto Hauptstrasse. We had to call and were told there would be an additional charge if we arrived after 6:10pm. Parking is in a town lot, and we were directed to a lot that was not the closest lot to the hotel which was annoying. Also, the breakfast is very nice but you need to order it and they bring a prepared plate. It would have been easier just to order the eggs and just set the rolls, cheese, and other breakfast items on a table so people can just help themselves. But the breakfast was very good in any case.

Amazing house in the center of the town square. Next to everything. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning and it right next to a church that rings loud bells all through the night. Incredible to stay in a historic landmark, but a little challenging to get sleep on a hot summer night. Super friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious! Would stay again.

Great hotel.

Fantastic hotel. Owners father is at front desk and speaks excellent English and is very knowledgeable. The location is superb, the breakfast great and parking for 10 Euros per night reasonable. Being on the wall is awesome.

Amazing historical setting & customer service

While we absolutely loved the old town and the tremendous views on our short hikes, the highlight of our visit was this amazing conveniently located 16th century hotel with incredible customer service. We'll never forget how our host Vassilis went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and ensure we experienced the best of what his hotel and area had to offer.

Schönes individuelles Zimmer im Nebengebäude. Es gibt einen Gemeinschaftsraum. Mitten in der Altstadt gelegen. Kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz 3 min zu Fuß entfernt. Frühstück im Haupthaus unten in der Weinstube. Frühstück sehr einfach gehalten, aber man wird satt. Personal beim Frühstück naja.
